Created by Jennifer Bolyn, founder of San Diego-based eos Architecture, and artist and creative director Christopher Aaron, eos Haus is a personal expression of architecture, art, and design.

From the contemporary exterior to the selected furnishings and original artwork, the space reflects an appreciation for simplicity, thoughtful details, and comfortable living.

Whether you’re visiting for a weekend getaway, exploring San Diego’s coastline, or looking for a peaceful place to recharge, eos Haus offers an inviting home base.

The Space

Your accommodations are a private guest suite within our architect-designed Ocean Beach residence.

The suite has its own independent entrance, allowing you to come and go without passing through the main home. Inside, you’ll discover a comfortable environment combining contemporary design with the warmth of a personal residence.

The interior features neutral tones, contrasting textures, contemporary furnishings, and original abstract artwork. Every artwork displayed in the suite was created by Christopher Aaron.

Rather than a conventional hotel room or typical vacation rental, eos Haus offers a distinctive design-focused retreat with a clean, modern aesthetic.

Sleeping Accommodations

At the center of the suite is a comfortable queen-size bed with upgraded hotel-style bedding and pillows, selected for a restful night’s sleep.

Fresh linens are provided for each stay. Contemporary lighting, original artwork, and carefully chosen furnishings create a calm atmosphere after a day exploring San Diego.

The suite provides a welcoming place to unwind.

Private Bathroom

The suite includes its own private bathroom with contemporary finishes, a glass-enclosed shower, modern fixtures, and a built-in shower bench.

Fresh bath towels, beach towels, soap, and shampoo are provided.

The bathroom is exclusively for your use and is not shared with the main residence.

Refreshments and Everyday Comforts

Although eos Haus is a guest suite rather than a full apartment with a traditional kitchen, it includes convenient amenities for simple refreshments and light meals.

You’ll find a mini refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, electric kettle, and water dispenser.

These amenities are ideal for keeping beverages chilled, enjoying morning coffee, preparing a quick breakfast, or warming up leftovers from one of Ocean Beach’s restaurants.

A small dining or work area provides a place to enjoy a snack, plan your day, or check emails. A television is also available for relaxing.

The property reflects the design philosophy of eos Architecture, a San Diego practice focused on thoughtful contemporary environments.

The exterior features a modern composition of wood, concrete, generous windows, and considered landscaping.

Inside, the design continues through contemporary materials, understated furnishings, sculptural lighting, and original artwork.

Created by Christopher Aaron, the artwork reflects a creative practice spanning fine art, interiors, and visual design.

Private Entrance and Guest Access

Your suite has its own independent entrance at the front of the property.

You will not need to enter the main house, and your sleeping area and bathroom are entirely private.

An access code is provided before arrival, allowing convenient self-check-in and the flexibility to come and go according to your schedule.

Because the guest suite is part of our primary residence, we’re nearby if you need assistance or local recommendations.

We respect our guests’ privacy and want you to feel comfortable enjoying the space independently.

Outdoor Space

A small outdoor table and seating area near the front of the property provides a place to enjoy fresh air or morning coffee.

This outdoor seating area is shared with the homeowners rather than reserved exclusively for the guest suite.
