I can't express enough that the location of this home is beyond perfect. Steps away from the beach and boardwalk. The house was quaint yet perfect for our little family. Hot tub and porch was a wonderful touch to the end evenings especially when it was a little chilly. Love the tractable porch canopy with the lights that made dinners outside spectacular. All of the greenery surrounding the porch and hot tub was so relaxing. Sleeping accommodations for our teens and ourselves was comfortable. I'd suggest cooking in this quaint little kitchen and having dinner on the patio. Having the garage parking was so much appreciated as parking is hard to find. We will be back. This is a wonderful rental.

The location of the property is perfect. House great size for our party of 4. Hot tub is a little small, that only fits 3 adults. The air and tv were a little confusing to use. All in all, we would definitely stay at the property again.

Weekend golf and shopping getaway

The location of the property is excellent. 2 minute walk to the beach and 15 min to La Jolla and 15 min to Coronado. Generally clean and well appointed. The beds were very comfortable and linens and sheets very clean. The place needs a little sprucing up. Needs a coat of paint and the carpets upstairs have some large bad stains. The main bath upstairs also was very dated. A lot of black mold in the shower and shower doors. Bathroom really needs an upgrade. One sink in the double vanity also took 5 min to drain so it needs a good flush to drain properly. Overall, the location was awesome and the place was clean. Just needs a few upgrades before we would come back.

Perfect location we loved it

Thank you for letting us stay at your place - it was great! We'd do it again. One suggestion is to have the people who clean check the knives for cleanliness. Every knife we pulled out to use was so gross...something that would be easily overlooked and not a deal breaker. We had a great time!

Great location!

Pros: Great location and lovely house. Perfect quiet spot right next to bustling pacific beach. Hot tub to relax in after surfing. Cons: Hand soap in each bathroom, not just the kitchen would be nice.

Great Stay in Pacific Beach

This property was in a great location. Close to the ocean and the bay. Both were in a few minutes walk. The bedrooms were large and the kitchen was great. The bathroom showers could use updating (black mold on the shower curtain and the shower flowers were very dirty), there were only a few hangers in the house, and no hand soap in the bathrooms. There was plenty of laundry detergent and dishwasher soap to use. The house seemed like it is meant for three people The hot tub only fits three people, three chairs on the patio and three beach chairs available to use. They did have a beach umbrella and boogie boards to use which were great. Overall it was a nice place and we would stay here again.

Cozy Pacific Beach House

Family of four had a fantastic stay. Will definitely keep this location in-mind for future visits. Positives: -Great location: The walk from the porch to the beach isn't more than two minutes. It's about the same amount of time to walk up the street to Ralph's (grocery store) as it is to drive. Plenty of restaurants and bars within a five-minute walk. Quick drive to Belmont Park and Interstate 8. Quiet location. -Great space: Versatile and spacious for four people. More space for four people to eat outside than in (that's a plus). Grill works great; plenty of options to eat-in. -Washer/Dryer: Not that we want to spend our vacation time doing laundry, but a huge help with kids along. Areas of Improvement: -Upstairs bathroom: Sink stoppers in both sinks became lodged and immovable; elevated this issue with management on Day 1 of our stay and wasn't addressed during our 4-day stay. -Cleanliness: Cutlery in the knife block and baking sheets were dirty upon check-in; we ran all dishes/cutlery through a dishwasher cycle to be sure. -WiFi password: Post it somewhere visible within the house, such as on the WiFi router itself. -Upstairs bedroom: Add curtains to the East-facing windows. -Patio: Trim the dead palm fronds hanging just above the hot tub. General Thoughts/Suggestions: -Directions: GPS will take you too far. Traveling south on Mission Blvd, look for "Zanzibar CT" and take next right into the alley - this is for parking in the property's garage. You've gone too far if you turn after you see "York." -Parking: I was able to park a Honda Pilot in the garage without issue. Emptying the trunk required parking the car about half-way out of the garage to avoid the lower ceiling, but it's entirely possible. -Kitchen: Bare. It's the essentials of dishes, cutlery, and appliances you see in the online photos, but all food items (ex. coffee, oil, sugar, etc.) are on you to bring in. There were a salt and pepper shaker - that's all. -Soap: Property did not provide hand soap. Unexpected, post-pandemic. We bought a couple dispensers from Ralph's/Trader Joe's and left behind what we didn't use.
