Indulge in the iconic San Diego lifestyle at this private hideaway, thoughtfully designed for the discerning traveler. Decked out with a serene patio, modern appliances, and 65-inch HDTVs, our 2-bedroom townhouse offers the perfect retreat for families or groups seeking an unforgettable vacation in this gem of a city. The open-concept living area is a warm welcoming point, featuring comfy sofas, beautiful hardwood floors, and a cosy ambiance you`ll fall in love with. A large HDTV with Netflix, HBO Max, and more is set up for your entertainment leisure. If you need to keep up with work, we also offer a dedicated workspace. Housed in this space is also a fully equipped kitchen, complete with a modern oven, refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, and coffee maker. Preparing meals becomes a delight here, with ample quartz counter space paired with chic bar stools. At the end of the day, enjoy outdoor grilling with the BBQ or make memories around the fire pit. The bedrooms are sanctuaries of peace and relaxation. Each comes with king-size beds, ultra-high-thread-count linens, comfortable pillows, and plenty of storage space. Additional sleeping arrangements can be made with the queen size sleeper sofa in the living room. A newly renovated bathroom with essential toiletries, a washer and dryer, and ironing facilities round up our accommodations.

Guests will have unlimited access to the entire property during their stay - including the serene outdoor patio with a comfortable lounging area, fire pit and BBQ grill. Self-check-in is effortless through a smart lock for which a unique code will be provided. As for parking, we have free street parking right next to the entrance of our property, and free street parking throughout our neighborhood.

Our beautiful home is hidden in a peaceful suburban neighborhood of Grant Hill, San Diego, only 5-10 minutes drive or Uber ride to the San Diego Zoo, Gaslamp District, Petco Park, Little Italy, Seaport Village, the Convention Center, and Coronado; and about 15-20 minutes to SeaWorld, all San Diego beaches, and La Jolla cliffs. There is also plenty of public transportation to choose from, depending on your destination.

Our home offers a prime location with endless possibilities for fun and relaxation. We`re a short drive away from key attractions such as Balboa Park, USS Midway Museum, Petco Park, and the San Diego Zoo, while exciting downtown landmarks like the Gaslamp District and Little Italy are nearby. As we approach summer, imagine hosting BBQ sessions on our spacious patio and lounging out on the fire pit table under San Diego’s twinkling stars. Looking forward to the next major holidays? Our home makes perfect for a Memorial Day, Independence Day, or Labor Day getaway – conveniently located near popular celebratory spots. There is no shortage of delectable eateries and vibrant bars around – we recommend checking out Juniper & Ivy and Water Grill for incredible dining experiences. Downtown is also home to a buzzing nightlife scene – try Prohibition Lounge or Noble Experiment for unique cocktails. Please note, our property is located in a residential neighborhood, and we request our guests to respect our neighbors by keeping noise levels low between 10 PM to 7 AM. Please adhere to our house rules, including a strict no smoking and no pets policy. Unauthorized guests are prohibited, and violations will result in a fee. At last, we`re committed to providing a safe and clean environment for our guests - we follow cleaning and disinfection protocols aligned with public health guidelines. Check-In and Check-Out

Check-in is any time after 4:00 PM.
Check-out is by 11:00 AM.
Early check-in or late check-out may be requested through your personal online Ethos Home Portal, available immediately after your reservation is confirmed. We will do our best to accommodate such requests; however, occasionally we may only be able to confirm same-day or 24 hours in advance based on turnover schedules.

We keep check-out tasks to a minimum. We only ask that you wash your dishes and remove your trash from inside the home. These two small steps help us pay our cleaning teams a fair wage while keeping our overall cleaning fees reasonable. If you leave something behind, we are happy to mail lost and found items back to you for a $35 Handling Fee plus the cost of shipping.

Overstaying beyond the designated check-out time may result in additional charges of up to 150% of the effective daily rate of your stay for each day (full or partial) that you overstay, as well as any other related damages, fees, costs or expenses incurred by us, such as our loss of a subsequent guest reservation or booking alternative accommodations for them. We reserve the right to enter the accommodation, remove any belongings, change the locks or lock codes to the space and take further action as may be necessary or appropriate.


Prohibited Conduct and Excessive Cleaning

Illegal substances, drugs, and smoking of any kind are strictly prohibited anywhere on the premises, including but not limited to tobacco, marijuana, cigars, cigarettes, and pipes, as well as hookah, e-cigarettes, and vapes. Illegal drugs or smoking any substances may result in immediate cancellation of the reservation and a Smoke Cleaning Fee of up to $750 to deep clean and deodorize the home. Please note that recreational smoke detection sensors protect all our properties.

Unauthorized guests or occupants. Please observe the maximum occupancy allowed on your reservation at all times. If you would like more than 6 guests, including daytime visitors, to occupy the home at any time during the reservation, please confirm it with us before check-in. Unauthorized occupants will be charged $75 per person per night for the entire reservation period, and if we find it necessary, we may revoke or terminate the reservation if occupancy limits are violated.

Parties, events, and excessive noise are strictly prohibited. Guests must comply with all city and county laws, and all local noise and safety ordinances during their stay. Please keep noise to a minimum between 10:00 PM and 7:00 AM and respect the privacy and comfort of our long-term neighbors. Please note that our properties are protected by non-audio-recording noise decibel and crowd monitoring devices to prevent parties.

Laundry hours are between 7:00 AM and 10:00 PM.

Pets are not permitted anywhere on the premises, unless explicitly approved in writing before arrival. Evidence of a pet may result in a Pet Cleaning Fee of up to $200 to deep clean, deodorize, and disinfect the home. If you are assisted by a service animal, please contact us before booking. Service animals may not be left unattended at any time anywhere on the premises.

Children under 14 years old may not be left unattended in the home at any time for safety reasons.

Please follow the parking instructions in your Ethos Home Portal and obey all posted traffic signs.

Unsanitary conditions such as excessive trash, spills, or strong odors that may attract pests are not permitted. Guests are responsible for keeping the home tidy during their stay. Major spills or stains on rugs, sofas, beds, or linens may result in an Excessive Cleaning Fee of up to $150. Permanently stained sheets or towels that can’t be restored will be charged at $18 each. Cleaning involving bodily fluids such as urine, blood, or vomit may result in a Biohazard Cleaning Fee of up to $250. Using the BBQ grill and leaving it dirty with food or grease may result in a Grill Cleaning Fee of up to $75.

Modifying or altering the home and its contents is not permitted. Furniture, appliances, wall décor, and fixtures must not be moved or adjusted. Event decorations such as birthday signs, balloons, glitter and confetti removal may result in an Excessive Cleaning Fee of up to $150.

Tampering with security cameras is prohibited. Ethos properties and guests are protected with outdoor-only security cameras at entry doors. Unplugging, covering, disabling, or obstructing cameras may result in liability for damages, equipment replacement, and licensed reinstallation fees.

Firearms, weapons–real or replica, hazardous items, and open flames are prohibited, including candles, charcoal grills, fireworks, and any equipment that may increase risk of fire. Heating or cooking food on fire pit tables is not allowed and may result in an Excessive Cleaning Fee of up to $100.

Commercial photography, videography, or film production is only permitted with explicit written approval from Ethos Vacation Homes.

Beat the Phoenix Heat Get Away

Nice location convenient to so many points of interest in San Diego. Loved the fact you could get almost anywhere without having to get on the busy freeways. There were three of us and the size of house was just fine.

Work trip

The inside of this property was spotless, with everything I needed for a comfortable stay in San Diego. It was the perfect distance from downtown for business but also for baseball, shopping and good food. At the same time, it was literal minutes from the freeway to get anywhere. It was a peaceful and quiet neighborhood at night, but be prepared. If you come home late at night, you will be parking further away from the residence and walking. The host was amazing at responding to any of my inquiries and resolving them. Checkin and checkout were seamless. I didn’t love that the laundry was outside behind the building, but after mentally adjusting to that, it was no big deal. I would absolutely come and stay here again.

Visiting Naval Base

We stayed here while visiting our son at the naval base. The place was very nice and clean with great privacy. Owner was easy to contact. We did not need to but he reached out to let us know if we needed to he was there. We will stay here again when we come back to visit. Place had everything that we could have needed. It was close to all kinds of aggravations and food. It was a gray trio and the place allowed us to be able to spend quality time with our son. Thanks 😊
