The hotel did not properly account for their inventory and overbooked for the weekend of our visit. When we checked in they only had a 2 queen room and not the 2 queen suite (with sofa) that we booked through Expedia. We ended up having to fit our family of 5 into 2 beds. The toilet in our room had not been thoroughly cleaned (urine was still on the rim), toilet paper was low and had not been changed, and we found several bugs. There were loud clicking noises (from pipes?), and the water was intermittently cold for every shower. Parking was also overcrowded which lead to cars being parked in emergency lanes (hotel didn't enforce proper parking). We stayed here last year with no issues. Not sure what happened this past year.
To add, Expedia was not quick to rectify our issue and stated that the property determined the type of furniture in each room so the absence of a sofa bed was acceptable to them. The room we booked was clearly a suite and said it would sleep up to 6 guests. Not sure where the extra guests were expected to sleep. After 1.5 hours of chatting with Expedia customer support (they don't have a phone option) and being escalated to levels up to management, we finally got $100 refunded for the inconvenience. It was such a disappointing stay.
