Walk to the Hemisfair, King William, the Alamodome, the Alamo, the Convention Center, the Riverwalk & San Antonio`s best restaurants! 5-minute walk to downtown. Our 120-year-old cottage is charmingly renovated with modern bohemian decor. Relax inside or on a rocking chair on the front porch, or escape in the backyard retreat. Heated pool is 15x8.

Outside of your doorstep will be dozens of restaurants within walking distance. You will have a blast with friends or family, and we are kid-friendly. The Hemisfair has a fantastic park and splash pad for children just two blocks away.

NEW: Hemisfair`s Civic Park just opened! It has an amazing water feature that kids and adults can actually play in (bring your suit if you want to!), along with a beautiful lawn, nearby shops and food, and other features. The Hemisfair is only one block north on Alamo Street.

In addition to being located steps away from downtown San Antonio, the home will provide you with all the comforts and amenities to make your stay fun and comfortable!

You will love the backyard escape with our covered patio! The retreat is complete with BBQ pit, patio, deck, lounge chairs and our heated lounge pool! The pool is heated and is 15 x 8 feet and 4 feet deep on one side with seats on the other side. (It is not a spa. It is a small lounge pool. We provide pool towels!)

• We provide travel-sized shampoo, soap and conditioner; dish soap; laundry soap; toilet paper; and one roll of paper towels.
• Our coffee maker is a regular coffee maker with a coffee pot. We provide coffee! Our kitchen includes a gas stove and all of the pots, pans and utensils you need to cook! We have a blender, wine glasses, and more.
• We have wifi, a smart-tv in the living room, and an alarm system if you wish to use it.
• We have a pack-n-play and a high chair available to use.
• We also provide a Gas Grill BBQ pit in the backyard, and an outdoor propane heater!

The zoo and the Pearl are about 10 minutes away by car. Hop on I-10 or I-35 and find other fantastic destinations within 20-30 minutes, from Sea World to Fiesta Texas to the beautiful tubing rivers! Then head back to your downtown location.

You can walk to downtown San Antonio and dozens of local Southtown restaurants in Lavaca and King William, as well as a Family Dollar store. The grocery store is .8 miles away. You can walk or scooter downtown to the Riverwalk or tourist attractions. The Hemisfair, which includes the fantastic splash pad park for kids, is less than a half a mile away. The Alamo is about a mile, and you can walk or scooter anywhere downtown!

The Alamodome is 9/10ths of a mile or about a 20 minute walk to the entrance.

Guests are walking just steps from restaurants such as The Battalion, Rosario’s, Maverick, Bliss, Cascabel, Pharm Table, Senor Veggies, my favorite sandwich shop The Filling Station. ... and too many others to list!

The home is in the historic Lavaca neighborhood, which is the oldest residential neighborhood in San Antonio, and prior to that was farmlands for the Alamo Mission.

Southtown also includes King William, a Victorian-inspired neighborhood filled with history and charm.

Steel City Pops is a stone’s throw away if you want some sweets instead, and there is a coffee shop just steps away from the front door (Brown Coffee Shop)! The Pharm Table is a delicious new vegan restaurant steps away.

Head north less than a half a mile and arrive at the fantastic Hemisfair Park at the Tower of America, which includes a splash pad park for kids and much more! The Riverwalk is also a half mile away at its closest point, and the Alamo and San Antonio Convention Center are just under a mile away. Hop on a scooter if you want to explore downtown, and be sure to go down to the River to walk the shops, restaurants and bars.

The Alamodome is barely a 1/2 mile away!

You truly can’t get a home closer to downtown San Antonio! You’ll absolutely love the location.

We have a driveway for parking but you are so close to everything you may not need a car! You’re walking distance to downtown and Southtown! The Convention Center is .9 miles away.

The Alamo is also about 9/10ths of a mile away also!

If you want to venture out, you are a short Uber ride to The Pearl, the zoo, the Witte museum, the Doseum and much more!

The home is .5 miles to the Riverwalk at its closest point. The river winds around, and restaurants are further down. To walk directly to the restaurants, walk .6 miles instead up Alamo Street to enter the Riverwalk at the restaurants.

The Convention Center is also straight up Alamo Street, just before the Alamo. It is .85 miles away.
No outdoor music/noises after 10 pm or before 7 am.

Enter pool at your own risk; no lifeguard on duty. Renting means you acknowledge this. No swimming near pool drain. The pool pump is to be unplugged in emergencies and is noted with a sign.

No smoking. No pets or parties. Absolutely no one under 21 may rent the home. All supplies kept in the house are for use while in the home and are not for taking home.
