  • Cette spacieuse ferme moderne est située dans un quartier calme, sûr et accessible près de Seaworld, Lackland et Downtown.

    Construite en 2012 et récemment rénovée, cette maison offre des meubles et des décorations artisanaux pour donner une sensation de style ferme.

    La ferme moderne est une spacieuse maison à deux étages. En bas se trouve la salle à manger, la cuisine, le salon, la demi-salle de bain et une chambre principale avec salle de bain complète. A l'étage se trouve la salle de jeux / salle de divertissement / bar, 3 chambres et une salle de bain complète. Le patio arrière est couvert.

    Vous pouvez accéder à toutes les pièces de la maison à l'exception du garage et d'un petit placard à côté de la salle de lavage sous l'escalier. Vous pouvez garer votre voiture sur l'allée.

    C'est un quartier très calme, sûr et accessible de SeaWorld, Lackland, Six Flags, Downtown et de nombreux autres restaurants et lieux touristiques à San Antonio et dans les villes voisines.

Large home for a large group

We had our 5 grandkids and my 86 yr old mother with us for a retirement at Randolph AFB. The house was easy to find, clean, and roomy. The kitchen was functional but pots and pans need to be updated. We enjoyed our stay, liked the house, and wished we had time to use the pool.

House felt dirty, toilets had bad toilet rings, cups pulled out of cupboard were sticky and visibly dirty, no cookie sheet to make cookies and missing many basic amenities like toilet paper (we ran out). No laundry soap, dryer didn’t work. AC was stuck at 76 degrees for the whole first 12 hours. Told them the condenser unit was not functioning properly just by looking at it and the air not cooling. They asked us a few questions but then just stopped responding. Furniture was not comfortable for our party of 8. There were no extra blankets. The pool was several blocks away, which was not disclosed in the listing. To make matters worse the key card would not open the pool gate. When we inquired, the attended said, not my problem, call the HOA number. They were closed on weekend. Owners responded that they were sorry and would call… but then never responded to my inquiry if it was resolved. Rented the house because of the pool, so that was a huge disappointment for the kids.I’ve stayed a lot of places and I don’t ask much, but all of this stacked together was unacceptable. The home is for sale, which makes sense on why everything was so let go. Disappointed to say the least. Things could have been addressed and corrected and they were not.

Not what we expected

House was very spacious and we liked the room we had. However, it was a little run down. All window blinds were broken. Beds were uncomfortable. Vents were dirty. Pots and pans were old and broken.

Needs a little TLC

Pros - decent neighborhood - clean towels - clean & comfy beds - easy check-in - plenty of space - baby crib - pack 'n play - child high chair - ice maker works well - coffee, cream, and sugar available in pantry Cons - home needs some TLC - could be a bit cleaner - child high chair was dirty - pantry not stocked well (no spices) - no placemats for table - no napkins/paper towels for kitchen - front and back yard need maintenance (dead shrubs in front yard and back yard is completely weeds; no grass) - patio furniture not clean - backyard neighbor's home can see directly down in to backyard

Wonderful family getaway!

Our family of 9 spent a fantastic week at this residence. It was clean, well maintained and had a great supply of kitchen stuff. We like to eat in and had no problem cooking for the whole group. The bedroom downstairs was helpful for Grandma who can’t do stairs. And the extra living area was great for the kids to play video games so we could visit downstairs. We will definitely come again! Thank you for a great family New Years Trip!

First impression lacking

Overall the house met our needs, however both front and back yards were full of very tall weeds... very uninviting. I have stayed in several 5 star VRBOs and AirBnBs, and appreciate the little extras that make them special. This house was clean and comfy enough buts needs a little more TLC.

We rented the property for my daughter’s graduation from Basic Training. Access to everything I needed nearby and an oasis for my daughter to come to off base to visit with family.

Great House - Responsive Owner

The house was great and clean. The only concern was the landscaping (front/back). However once we spoke with Francis he was quick to respond and came and mowed the lawn himself. We had planned some outdoor activities for the kids, so we had we wanted to use the lawn. We appreciated the guidance in the instructions provided and the early check in availability. The location was fantastic in relation to SeaWorld 10 min and 22 min for Fiesta Texas. No issues with neighborhood. The driveway has an incline so be sure your emergency brake in your vehicle works!

Great spot for family reunion

The house is beautiful! So much better than getting in to separate hotel rooms. We met up with family and got to do dinner together and relax in the living room while not being cramped.

Very clean house with all the comforts of home.

We came to San Antonio for our Airman’s graduation from BMT. 8-10 of us stayed very comfortably in this house. Francis (the owner) is very conscientious & checked on us a few times to make sure we had everything we needed. He responds in a very timely manner to any question you may have. The house is close & convenient to lots of restaurants, stores gas stations, etc. I highly recommend this place!

Great Vacation at the Farmhouse!

This house was perfect for our visit to San Antonio with three of our grandsons! They had the whole upstairs to themselves! The house was close to two of the places they wanted to visit; Sea World and Six Flages. However, the best part of staying at the Farmhouse was the fact that it was sooo clean! We will certainly be staying here on our next trip to Texas.

Perfect place!

Thank you for helping our family of 8 enjoy a week in San Antonio without being cramped in two hotel rooms! The house was perfect for the young and season travelers. We were able to watch Sea World's fireworks through the game room's windows out of the heat and in our pjs. The neighborhood pool was just what the kids needed too. The house was spotless and clean when we arrived. The master bath shower was to envy! We will definitely stay at the Modern Farmhouse if we are in San Antonio again. Thank you again!

The house was great. It was just as described, clean, well equipped, and a nice central location. Host communicated all needed info and was super to deal with. I look forward to staying there again next trip to San Antonio.

Very pleasant, clean, quaint and comfortable

We were very happy staying at the modern farmhouse. It was just like the pictures and Francis was the perfect host always available to offer help but with privacy. We stayed for our sons Army PA graduation and I would recommend staying there.

Exelent !! Great place, location and communication - would return & recommend

great location near seaworld . very clean We loved this property! It was conveniently located and a perfect refuge after a busy day. The house was super clean and well-stocked with anything we could have wanted. The owner was very helpful and went out of his way to make our lives as easy as possible. We highly recommend this property!
