Ballen is 1.5 km away, featuring a marina and excellent restaurants. Try Restaurant Skipperly or Røgeriet by the water’s edge. Samsø’s best swimming beach is also in Ballen, complete with a winter swimming club. Nordby is worth visiting for its idyllic atmosphere and unique natural surroundings. The island is ideal for cycling and hiking.
