« My room was in the coach house, just outside tje doors of the main building. It was very clean with just baked biscuits and Tregothnan tea. A gorgeous view of the garden was welcoming on arrival. »

« Absolutely fabulous few days away. This is a real gem of a hotel. Quiet and secluded but a real joy to experience. The staff are so helpful and genuine (Rosie, Sharon and Oliver deserve medals) There was plenty of choice for breakfast, the cooked breakfast was tasty and well presented. The evening dinner menu and quality of food was 10/10. I think it could be even better with a slightly extended menu. We will be back x »

« All really good apart from parts of the bathroom looking tired and the shower leaking. Also could do with a better shower head. »

« The main thing to be said about our stay at the poltimore is that the staff really couldnt do enough for you. So attentive and lovely. The room was clean, spacious and had a stunning view of the countryside. The water sometimes ran brown, but this is probably the only negative comment to be said. Food has always been very nice here. We happily stay here again. »

« We really enjoyed our two nights stay in this very charming guest house. Our room was clean and our bed was super comfy. The owner was very pleasant and made us feel very welcome in her home. »

« Parking right outside, easy check in, was shown to room. Newly renovated rooms are clean and decor is great. Comfortable beds and bedding. Fresh milk in fridge. Bar area was warm and welcoming, even on a busy December weekend with very well priced drinks. Would 100% stay here again. »
