Griff Cottage, luxury holiday cottage Skinningrove

Griff Cottage is located in Skinningrove on the North Yorkshire coast, stay local and enjoy the two fantastic beaches or use the cottage as a base to explore the beautiful coastline and the North Yorkshire Moors. Just a few hundred yards from the Cleveland Way and short walk to the local pub serving food. The cottage has been fully refurbished and is maintained to a very high standard and every effort has made to ensure your stay with us is as perfect as possible.
The space
Featuring a kitchen diner which enjoys a lot of natural light and a fully equipped kitchen with everything you would expect including dishwasher, washing and drying facilities, a TV and music system. Outside we have over 40m of outside space including a small garden area, summer house, patio with dining area, barbeque and deck with comfortable seating. The living room is darker in colour with an exposed fireplace, comfy sofa's and TV. Upstairs we have two bedrooms, the master bedroom has a super king bed that can be split into two singles if required, the second bedroom has a standard double. All bedrooms have TV's and Alexa devices. The bathroom has a large shower cubicle with body jets and a separate bath plus a light up mirror you can Bluetooth your tunes to.

Guests have the use of two private parking spaces at the rear of the property which give access to a quite flat entry via the back door.

Just a few hundred yards from the choice of two beaches, Skinningrove beach and Cattersy Sands which is featured in the Daily Telegraph top 40 UK Beaches.

An ideal base to explore some wonderful woodland or coastal walks. Utilising the Cleveland Way at the sea front turn right to follow the route to Staithes (6 miles) or turn left and head to Saltburn (4 miles). The scenery afforded by both walks is breath-taking and both have decent public transport links back to the village. If cycling is your thing, the National Cycle Route 1 passes within 20 yards of the cottage and we have bike racks in the garage.

Skinningrove is a paradise for dogs with fantastic walking, a run across the beach or a dip in the sea. Griff cottage welcomes dogs and we even provide their own outside shower with warm water and their own towels.
