By booking, you agree to all of the house rules listed on our listing and rental agreement. Here it is again for your reference: By booking, you agree to all of the following house rules:

*All guests are required to sign a rental agreement and provide ID before receiving check-in instructions. Cancellation policies apply.

1. Smoking and drug use are not allowed inside the unit, on the balcony, or in the hallways of the building. This includes vapes, weed, or other illegal substances. There is a $1000 fine if discovered.
2. Parties are not allowed in this property, including loud music. There is a fee of $1000 if a party is discovered or if a neighbor complains about excessive noise. Quiet Hours: 10pm - 8am.
3. The apartment complex may run maintenance or clean pools, gym and other shared amenities as they see fit. Please be aware.
4. If an excessive mess is discovered after your stay, you will be charged accordingly on top of the standard cleaning fee. Please leave only 1 bag of trash in the can maximum at the property.
5. The cleaning that you pay for is to pay for how you find the home. Please leave it as you found it when you first arrived (more or less). If you do not pick up after yourself sufficiently after you check out, you may be charged an additional cleaning fee, price depends how long it takes to clean up after you (we hire 3rd party cleaners to come clean). We don’t expect you to scrub the home but simply pick up your trash and leave it decent enough that your mom would be proud! (=
6. Standard check-out is 10 am. Late check-out must be requested 24 hours before your checkout and a fee will apply. We will let you know what time we can accommodate.
7. Standard check-in is at 4pm. Early check-in must be requested at time of booking and is subject to availability. The fee is $20/hr. We will let you know what time we can accommodate. If you arrive early at the property without letting us know, you will have to wait until check-in time.
8. Everything in the home is inventoried. We will charge for any missing or damaged items. Please message us if you need extra items.
9. Any cleaning issues must be reported within a reasonable time of check-in so that we can help resolve any issues you may have.
10. We do not allow packages/mail to be sent to the address you’re staying at. You may deliver items to the door, or to a local FedEx/UPS. We cannot help you to retrieve delivered mail.
11. Respectful and friendly vocabulary is required by both parties. Your reservation will be cancelled with no refund if you use profanity or threaten any of our staff.
12. You are booking with a valid government-issued ID and are not engaging in fraud or identity theft.
13. There is 1 security camera pointing at the door entrance outside. Blocking or disconnecting this device will lead to immediate termination of your stay with no refund. The camera is on and recording.
14. Any unauthorized guests staying over will be charged an extra $100/night/guest
15. If you open it, close it; if you borrow it, return it; if you turn it on, turn it off; if you break it, fix it; if you use it, take care of it; if you make a mess, clean it up; if you move it, put it back
16. Please do not wash hair down the drain, no one likes clogged drains and we all know how problematic hair and drains can be, please treat it as your own home. Flush it down the toilet or throw it in the garbage bins provided.
17. Please do not lose the key fob or parking pass, if you do, there is a $300 charge to replace it.

Check in was slightly difficult- I had to call- But otherwise the stay was great. The space is exactly as pictured. Amenities are good. Location is central to public transportation and I felt fairly safe. There is a lot of homeless in the area, but it is a city. Everyone was very nice and accommodating. Now that I know the procedure- I would stay there again.

Cute unit, awful check in

We paid for early check-in to get to the unit 90 minutes early. We only had one night in town to spend with family and wanted to maximize our time. The check in process was so awful that we didn’t even get into the unit until AFTER the NORMAL check in time- more than 90 minutes after we were supposed to- and we didn’t get refunded for the early check in fee. The lock box with the fob to get into the building didn’t have the right code. We spent almost an hour just trying to get into the building. After calling and being given multiple codes to try on multiple lock boxes, we finally got in. The directions to the unit were unclear and the smell to get up there was a very strong cleaning chemical smell. Once we got to the unit, we had more problems as the code on the door was also incorrect and not working. It took another 15 minutes to get into the unit. At that point the lock was not allowing more attempts and the owners had to keep resetting it. Once inside the unit, we decided to stay as to not get locked out again. We got settled only to find that the bed was broken and the mattress sank below the frame. The owner offered to come fix it, but we did not want the only hours we had together to be spent with people we didn’t know fixing things that should not have been broken. We were told there was an air mattress so we got that out to use. The fridge and freezer also didnt work properly and the ice cream we had bought turned to liquid by the time we got it out to enjoy.

Basic amenities missing. Communication difficult. I would not stay here again.

Pros: 15-20 min walk to Salt Palace Convention Center. Restaurants, coffee shops, grocery stores are also within walking distance. The use of the gym. Quiet apartment. Cons: Some amenities were missing (iron and ironing board) which shouldn't be tough to correct. Unfortunately it took three days of communication with management team to get them to believe the iron & board was missing, then they said it wasn't listed as an amenity (I had photo proof that it was). Frustrating for sure, disruptive and a waste of my time. For a 6 day stay I was given 1.5 rolls of T.P. and no kleenex. 1/2 roll of paper towel in the kitchen with no kitchen towels. Felt super stingy. Furniture and bed were cheap and uncomfortable. Stains on the duvet. This unit is located off of the building's general deck area so dark drapes need to be closed for any amount of privacy - depressing after spending all my days at the convention center. When communication is clear, accurate and easy, and when what is promised is provided, I consider it a great stay. This was none of those things. I will not book this place again.

DO NOT RENT - MISREPRESENTED

I need a kitchen when I travel for work. I booked here and when traveling in, I mentioned I would be coming in late when it is dark. That I needed clear access information. There is an actual You Tube video created by the owner of this property to be able to get in because it is complex. Not only is it complex, it is unsafe and unsanitary. But I didn't receive this You Tube video and had no idea how to get in at 9pm at night. It was cold and windy. Homeless people are walking all over because the MISSION IS NEXT DOOR. You have to crouch down on the dirty city street to access a lockbox with a key in it attached to an exterior gate. It is gross. You have to put your belongings on the urinated sidewalk, allow homeless to walk over you, which is dangerous as you work a lockbox. Not good. Once I got inside, I noticed that the elevator is very dirty. Trash on the ground. The smell of curry is heavy in the hall. The rental shower liner, which was once clear, was completely white with soap scum and soap scum dripped off the black exterior curtain. The OVEN DID NOT WORK. That was an absolute deal breaker. They don't want to give you a refund either, I had to get VRBO involved. It is a slum apartment ran by people who will not give you proper access, a sanitized shower nor working appliances. They are not respectful to deal with, they make it a point to note extra rules, etc.-meanwhile violating many of VRBOs rules and regulations causing your stay to be a miserable one.
