« A glorious stay in room 412 which for us (couple and 4y/o on a sofa bed) was absolutely perfect. Double balcony with the most wonderful views, well proportioned room with everything we could need and a very nice touch of a complimentary welcome Salcombe Gin & Tonic in our room! Parking was convenient with the porter parking for us and was handled quickly and efficiently. The pool facilities were beautifully clean and tranquil and enjoyed especially by our daughter on the child permitted...

« We had an amazing room, The Penthouse, with beautiful views of the coast. Had a very warm welcome. We did repeatedly say the trip was to celebrate our Ruby wedding Anniversary but this was not acknowledged! The interior decor and setting is beautiful. We had dinner and room service, food was nice but menu was the similar and a bit limited but other days we found so many nice places to eat. The breakfast was nice, especially eating on the terrace but was let down by having to make your own hot...

« We had a lovely 3 day stay at Soar Mill Cove. The food is outstanding, really delicious. Breakfast was great, lots of attention to detail like homemade jams. We ended up having dinner there twice and a couple of cream teas as it was so good. Lounge area is great with the sea view, we enjoyed playing board games there. Pool is lovely, really clean and bigger than it looks in the pictures. Staff were friendly and attentive. Mostly families staying over Easter which was nice for the kids. There...

« The stay was fantastic. Just one issue was the lack of response from the emergancey contact number on the hotels.com confirmation email.....when we could not get in the property, and the key was not in the key safe!.....still waiting for an answer to our call & text.....very poor. We managed to find the key, and text the owners, who replied promptly and were lovely. »

« Right in the middle of town so a bit noisy but otherwise fantastic. The Garden suite has its own entrance and is a lovely room with a fabulous feature bath. Parking permit provided for the long stay car park. Breakfast is amazing- would totally recommend this pub »

« The lodge is very well equipped with lots of little extras like cooking oil, games, DVDs etc. The beds are very comfy and sleeps 5 people really well. The site is very quiet and has a kids play area. Easy to walk to East Soar and then to the coast path or to Overbeck Gardens & down to South Sands to catch the ferry to Salcombe. »
