If you're after a more active outdoors option, we recommend getting amongst the local wildlife for a hike up to the Gan Gan Lookout, or a bike ride is also a fantastic way to explore the stunning waterfront, you could go as far as the heritage-listed Nelson Head lighthouse, built in 1875.
