Set in the beautiful grounds of Chateau le Deffay near Pontchateau

Set in the beautiful grounds of Chateau le Deffay near Pontchateau, our very comfortable home from home on Camping le Deffay, has recently been refurbished to a very high standard.

There is a large master bedroom with king size bed (something you very rarely find in French statics), along with a second bedroom with a full-size single bed. There’s also a sofa bed in the lounge area, which opens into a very large single (4') wide.

All rooms have been refurbished to a high standard, including the kitchen, which is fully equipped with a large fridge/freezer, a separate beer fridge, washing machine, gas hob, microwave and air fryer. The kitchen is also fully fitted with all small appliances, plus ample crockery, cutlery etc. - everything you could wish for in a home from home property.

The newly refurbished bathroom has a walk-in shower, toilet and wash basin.

The lounge seats 4 people on 2 sofas (one of which is the sofa bed). There is TV with built-in DVD/CD player, electric wall heaters and an electric fire. The gas serves the hob and hot water.

Outside, we have a lovely eating/relaxing area on the decking overlooking the lake, complete with comfortable outdoor dining furniture. Apart from the on site restaurant, there is a French restaurant just a 10 minute walk away, where you can get a 3 course lunch for around 17 euros.

Our static holiday home on Camping le Deffay is set on a lovely private pitch with ample space. There are a lot of English people who have holiday homes on the site, so there is no shortage of people to meet up with in the bar and chat to.
