« We had a great stay at the villa. It was equipped with everything we needed. The property manager was extremely helpful in organizing cars and a chef (highly recommended!) for our stay. The layout of the property was perfect for 4 families with 4 kids total. The kids enjoyed the pool but the highlight for all was the daily visit from the monkeys. « The location of this villa is perfect. 5mins to Gibbs Bay which is a quiet beach or 5mins to Mullens, which has a couple of bars. Really quiet - air con perfect for the night time. Very clean - every thing you need for a peaceful stay. We hired a car for the last few days, no issues with parking the hire car on the property. We will return. Host very helpful and great communication. »

« We stayed for 2 weeks here in April, and it just worked so well for our two families. Lots of space in all the bedrooms and the teenagers made themselves at home in the basement annex. All of the living spaces are more than ample,with the best outdoor space for the pool and BBQs. It’s 5 minutes walk to the nearest beach which has bars, a top quality restaurant and also the local garage which is great for convenience supplies. Peter is great, and couldn’t be more helpful, top quality host. »

« The Old Sugar House was the idyllic setting for our family gathering of 9 over Christmas. It is beautiful and very spacious. The views are amazing, the garden magical. It really was everything we could have hoped for. The showstopper is the huge patio common area overlooking the pool and hot tub as well as the ocean. « Booked with short notice. Property manager Sarah was great and quick to reply to booking requests. Property owner was lovely. Spent time talking to us and responded very quickly to any requests. Property itself is a little gem. Pool is small but perfect for our needs. House certainly felt bigger than expected. Plenty of room. Hidden away but only a few minutes walk to the beach and public transport routes. Away from any road noise. Will certainly look to revisit again sometime. »
