In the past we stayed at another nearby hotel we like, but trying something different this time. We enjoyed our stay here and would recommend it to others.
Our suite was clean and tidy and nicely furnished. We were pleasantly surprised at the size and layout. The coffee service was complete. No chocolates or cookies on the pillow, but everything was just --- nice. Bathroom was spotless. We enjoyed the breakfast which was great. We did not use the kitchen this time but it could have been very handy if we were staying longer than two nights.
I have a few minor nits:
1) Our room had an unknown musty smell. It was very noticeable when we first entered.
2) There was a loud repetitive scratching sound from the wall near our bed. It sounded like a rodent inside the wall - I know from experience. It was quite disturbing. But the next day we heard a similar sound - though not as loud - from the refrigerator on the other side of our room, which could mean it was a similar noise coming from the adjacent room. I'm going with that theory.
3) We also heard people walking about upstairs, but not from the hallway outside.
Overall, it was a good experience and we would like to visit again.
