« We were directly above the bar which had loud music until 1.30 am Easter Saturday night , so unable to sleep before 2 am . Guess we should have joined the party but we were too tired to do so . Apart from that ,the room and services were ok but you wouldn't want to pay more for these standards . »

« The Whately is perfectly located in the centre of Banbury, nice staff, beautiful garden, complete breakfast in a spacious room. The beds are very very comfy. The building itself is wonderful, but the hotel needs a big refreshment: the carpets in the stairs are worn to the bone, covered with scotch tape, one of our curtains was torn apart, the handle was about to fall from the bedroom door, and the cold water was slow to go out from the tap. « Super cute, like being in your own romantic little bubble in the countryside. We came to watch a friend do a parachute jump at the airfield for charity. It was the perfect place to stay for a night or two. Loved the BBQ, the view through the windows and the way the space was designed. So compact and yet everything was so considered and well designed. »
