« Séjour 1 nuit en famille avec 2 ados. 1 très grand lit 2 personnes, exceptionnel par contre le canapé lit soit disant de 2 places devait mesurer 1.20m de large donc c'est compliqué de dormir à 2 dedans! Buffet petit déjeuner complet, très bien »

« The property is 400 yrs old so expect things to be uneven. The current owners have only been there a few years so maybe they still have work to do. The bedrooms are described on the website as "stylish "....I would say plain. The bedding was clean, bathroom ok but it was difficult to get the shower to the right temperature...it was either boiling or cold. Room 5 had a frosted window but it was hot so we had it open. « Super séjour. »

« Lovely property -- a lot of stais to get to rooms, but a very nice location »

« Nice and clean room, free parking »

« The temperature in my room was 17° and never went above 18° despite my request. So a fan was snoring all night. The shower was cold too. and the light was dim at night. I was afraid of crossing a polar bear! Location is great if you attend an event at Telford International. »

« It was ideally situated for what we wanted. But it deserved a better restaurant than the Welcome Break »

« Convenient to visit Ironbridge sites »

« The room was clean . The bedroom was small for a double, bed was very comfy but had a terrible squeak every time one person moved . The bathroom spacious and good shower. Staff very pleasant and helpful. Located very good for travelling around the area . »

« Everything needed for a cosy, relaxing stay. Will book again. »

« I love old fashioned, traditional pubs & inns, and this was perfect. Wooden beams, creaky floors, etc. The staff were wonderful and very helpful. The meals were of high quality & decently priced, too, the breakfast exceptional! Plenty of parking available. I will definitely visit there again. »

« Ideal location for a family visit & made our dog feel very welcome! Everywhere was beautifully decorated & the staff were very welcoming! Breakfast was amazing & we would definitely stay there again !! Well done to the Sutherland xx »

« The AC was broken down in the entire wing in the heat of summer. Staff brought fans but that did not help as the windows couldn’t open either. My family and I had no sleep or rest during our entire stay. »

« The staff were very helpful & we had an excellent cooked breakfast. »

« Although much about this property is dated, the warmth of its welcome, the high quality of its food, and the ease of parking (for £4 a day in the carpark across the road) make this a five star stay. »
