Beautiful historical town

We were only there for a little over 24 hours but really enjoyed walking around. It is such a unique town, if you enjoy history in a beautiful setting, then Rothenburg will satisfy.

Owner was very nice abd welcoming, bar was good as well for nightcap. Breakfast staff would not let us join our friends we were traveling with.

Zentral gelegen mit Flair

Hatten ein langes Wochenende gebucht und waren voll zufrieden. Empfehlenswert ist die hauseigene Küche, das Weinlokal ebenso. Man sollte für abends reservieren.

Leider befand sich das Zimmer im Haus 2. Etwas sehr spartanisch für 4 Sterne. Maximal 3! In der Buchung befand sich kein Hinweis darauf. Problem beim check in. Die etwas genervte Dame an der reception wollte unbedingt einen Voucher von mir. Expedia-Buchung wurde nicht akzeptiert. Kurzer Anruf bei Expedia durch den Kunden (mich) hat wahrscheinlich Abhilfe geschaffen. Frühstück war sehr gut...4 Sterne...ansonsten 3 Sterne Hotel.

After a mix up with expedia Anett was a great help. The location is fantastic. Don't forget to do the Night Watchman tour.

Very nice

The hotel is very charming and well located in the heart of the village. It's only a 15 minute walk from the train station. The hotel offers a very good restaurant and lovely room, friendly and helpful staff.

フランクフルトから昼過ぎに着きました。チェックインは指定時間まで駄目で外を散策しました。 部屋は清潔で綺麗でしたが、エアコンが無かった為、就寝するまで窓を開けていました。場所的には最適でした。エレベーターは二重ドアで小さいので分かりずらいです。 フロントも親切でしたが、レストランと兼職しているので、カギを預ける時困りました。 通常のホテルの様にボーイも何も居ません。

Gemütliches Hotel im Herzen der Stadt

Das Hotel befindet sich mitten in der historischen Altstadt Rothenburgs. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und man bekommt dort ein sehr gutes Frühstück.

reviews just don't do it justice....

We arrived in the early evening, just as the sun was setting. I was greeted by the smell of cookies as i entered to check in. The food was great, the staff was fantastic. W parked our car in their garage. The rooms were clean and quiet. The food was wonderful. What more could I ask for. My family and I were very pleased. My family and I also stayed at a five star hotel in Venice while on this trip. Hotel Reichs Kuchenmeister was far far and away superior. The only negative was the little expensive soda's and such in the room refrigerators. While they are convenient they're much too easy for the kids to grab and consume. Free internet would have been icing on the cake.

A gem of a hotel in Rothenburg

Very quaint and charming hotel. Small but well staffed. Not your average holiday Inn. Staff speaks very good english. The staff helped set up two tours for our group in advance over the internet and the tours were outstanding, Night Watchman and Day tour with Daniel. Hope you like bells if you book this hotel. St. Jacobs Church is located next to the hotel and well you can imagine the church bells ringing. I kinda liked it but it woke my wife up too early and she's not a friendly person in the morning. LOL.

Would Not Allow Date Change

Prepaid for a Saturday evening in that my son and I were spending the last week of fasching in Germany. Plan was to visit parades in Wurzburg on Sunday and Mainz on Monday. Record 12' snowstorm in Dallas(previous best was 7.8') and plane canx. Left a day late. Called hotel directly to explain situation and have our date move to any Saturday this summer. Refused. The hotel was well within their rights but felt they could have accomodated our flexible request.
