« My best friend, my sons, and my nephew gathered at Riverside Country Retreat for the weekend. The house was perfect: great bbq grill, fire pit and three cozy bedrooms! We Sat out by the fire and walked the trail to the river. Our rooms were comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed. This is a great place in close proximity to Brazos Bend State Park where we geocached and hiked. « The hosts were very responsive, and the house was clean, comfortable, and well-appointed. My only concern was the location. When booking a rental, you can't always see the surrounding neighborhood, and there were several abandoned or unoccupied houses next door and across the street. That said, I don't think this is unusual for rentals in this price range. Overall, we had a good stay, and I would recommend the property. »
