Three Ridges is a spacious, private, four-season, mountain-side home with 21 acres on the quiet side of Nelson County. At only 4 miles to the biggest brewery and cidery in Central VA, you get the best of both worlds: plenty of entertainment nearby and plenty of space and quiet at home with only mountains in sight. With 5 BR / 3 BA, tons of living space inside and out, this modern and refreshed home was designed for families to reunite, church groups, bachelor parties, or girls wine weekends.

Three Ridges is 3,500 square feet of thoughtfully furnished living space inside and another 1,000 square feet of well-furnished wrap around deck with jaw-dropping mountain views and sunsets that make you melt. There’s a spot for everyone and every occasion in the home.
On the main level you will find a large, modern kitchen with new Samsung appliances, Cherry Shaker cabinets and updated granite countertops. There’s dining space inside for 12 adults to eat at once – 8 at the table and 4 at the bar – and living space for all 12-14 of you to laugh the night away on the huge sectional sofa in the family room.
Kids and adults of all ages will love the movie on the lower level and the huge game room in the basement with two arcade game towers with 13 different games, Ping Pong, Shuffle Board, Pop A Shot, foosball, cards and board games. Open the door to let the fresh air flow through the game room or keep it closed as the room is covered with central heat and A/C.
Blazing fast fiber internet / WiFi covers the whole house, so if you need to stay connected while getting away, then that is easy to do.
There are five large bedrooms and three full bathrooms split across the three level to comfortably sleep 17:
Upstairs you will find two bedrooms and one bath: Primary Bedroom with King bed and walk out deck with the best views in the house.
Massive “Kids Bedroom” with Two Queen Beds, a Full/Twin bunk, and Full Trundle to easily sleep 6-7 adults or up to 9 kids.
On the main level there are two more bedrooms and a full bathroom: Bedroom 3 has a King Bed with comfortable memory foam mattress.
Bedroom 4 also has a King Bed with memory foam mattress and clear mountain views.
On the lower level: Bedroom 5 has a Queen bed and a private full bathroom.
The sofa in the living area is a pullout for even more sleeping space.
Ceiling fans and TVs with all of your streaming services further enhances most bedrooms and heated floors are a special treat in two of three bathrooms. See pictures for details.
Enough about inside, you came to the mountains for a reason… to be outside! There’s plenty of space for that too with the wrap around deck on the main level and the walk out deck off the primary bedroom upstairs. With over 1000 square feet of recently cleaned and stained deck, there’s enough space for everyone. 2 outdoor dining tables provide seating for 16 people at once. Rocking chairs, bistro lights, Propane grill, hammocks and swings, mean that the deck is comfortable for guests of all ages, at all times of day, and nearly year-round. We find that most guests spend all their time outside!

Great place to stay with a group. Easy drive to Wintergreen for boarding and skiing. Kids loved the garage turned into game room. All amenities you could want. Beds were great. Too chilly to be outside much but looked like a nice fire pit and plenty of deck space and chairs. Would definitely stay again.

Such a wonderful house and stay! We had 3 families with kids, and the layout is great. The views from the house, off the balconies and the backyard are gorgeous. Nice huge firepit for everyone to sit around, and large kitchen that fit us all comfortably. The host provided so many essential amenities, such as coffee, kitchen sponge, soaps and so on. Really felt like home and that we had everything we needed. Also, the communication was great with a well detailed welcome guide explaining everything from directions, to things to do in the area. We’ll most likely stay again when visiting in the future!

The house is beautiful and views were great. Location and amenities were great as well. There was plenty of space for our large group and the fire pit and swings were a big hit. When we arrived, we found a bathroom door in need of repair. All the doors stuck (very noisey to open & close) due to humidity and in the middle of the night it's very disruptive especially when you have young children sleeping. The kitchen has tons of plates, cups and serving dishes but I would suggest bringing your own frying pan or griddle as the cookware is worn out. There were light bulbs missing and ceiling fans that we couldn't get to operate without having the light on. When you're paying this much for a vacation rental, I would hope that everything is in working order or fixed quickly. The only thing that we really needed repaired for our stay was the bathroom door. I reached out to owner and he replied back quickly and said he'd get on it. My husband went to a hardware store, bought and repaired door when we didn't hear back from him.

Amazing! Private, clean, spacious, with all the amenities one could ask for. The location was perfect as we enjoyed hiking, tubing, and several breweries. Enjoyed breakfast on the large deck and ended the days around the fire pit. Game room was a hit and kept the kids busy giving the adults time to catch up. Bathrooms were large and spacious. Beds were super comfortable. Would definitely recommend this property and stay again.

50th Birthday Getaway
We had a wonderful long weekend with 5 couples for a 50th Birthday Trip. The location is beautiful...I cannot imagine what it would look like with the leaves turning or covered in snow...I am sure just gorgeous. The views are everything. The proximity to local breweries, wineries, cideries was the best. We even went up to Wintergreen and tubed. The house is spacious with everyone having their own room and space. Plenty of space for eating and game playing at the kitchen table. Two fridges is great! We used instacart for a Food Lion delivery as recommended by the homeowner and that was just the best!! The game room was a hit...did I mention all adults for a 50th birthday. We had some serious basketball tournaments. We would definitely return and cant recommend this home enough. Great homeowners and beautiful home!

We absolutely loved our stay at this place. It was a cozy home with an amazing view. We had plenty of room for my big family. It had a fire pit where we all made s’mores, it was so much fun. Beautiful view from this property. The house is spacious and so many household needs were supplied. The fire pit was great,plenty of chairs for around the fire. There was a place for everyone in our group to hang out with everyone or alone.
We were comfortable and relaxed entire llength of our stay.
Kyle was fast to respond and made sure we knew we could reach out if we need anything. Definitely recommend this for family gatherings or any gathering.

We had a great time and the house was perfect for our large group. The game room was a big hit with the kids and adults. We have always stayed on the mountain but like this location much better. Family “Get Together”
Great owner, great communication great house, great location… I could go on! We had a group of 13 from around the country for a family “get together” and this house was perfect. There was plenty of room for everyone. We enjoyed a little of everything that the house and location had to offer. The location was perfect and we did hikes to see Crab Tree Falls, the old train tunnel, did brewery and winery tours, as well as a trip to Monticello. At night the kids loved the game room while the adults caught up on life at the LARGE dinning room table. Just a great overall stay and I would recommend ANY of Kyle’s houses to those looking to stay in the area.

Great weekend
Kyle was very responsive and the house was great. We were a large group of 5 families. The fire pit area was outstanding. Even with the game room available for the kids they spent most of their time outdoors and not in front of electronics. The homes proximity to hiking and all the activities was fantastic. This was not our first trip to this area and previously stayed in homes at Wintergreen Resort. After this stay I would not consider that area and highly recommend this property.

Perfect Winter Getaway
This property was absolutely perfect for us! We were a large group of three families, totally 13, and there was plenty of room for everyone without feeling cramped at all! Adults had space to hang out and catch up, while the kids thoroughly enjoyed the downstairs area with their own tv area and the game room!
