« Alice who owns the property goes above and beyond what she needs to do she knows every guest by there 1st name had a meal in the Cantonese restaurant (which alice runs) on Friday and the food was 1st class breakfast there a choice a good choice all the staff are very friendly beds very comfortable and clean , showers nice and hot decor could do with a up date but to be honest I wasn’t there to look at the decor there was a group of 6 and we would definitely go back »

« The staff were exceptional as we had gone to visit a very poorly friend. Our plans changed yesterday and today hourly and we were allowed to stay in their carpark until we left just after 2 pm. Our friend is home from hospital but have not had chance to catch up but we enjoyed our time in Thirsk a beautiful place great for shopping »

« Very friendly reception from the landlord Gareth who provided a most enlivening atmosphere in the Duke of Wellington ie a darts match for the men and Easter wreath making for the ladies. No food unfortunately but we found an excellent Italian restaurant in nearby Northallerton. The courtyard room was clean and comfortable, marred only by a very awkward shower - not easy to enter, due to lack of space. »
