1. The oven wasn't working properly. The door wouldn't stay closed, so your food wouldn't cook. Also the numbers on the stove dials were all worn off. 2. The dryer didn't have a vent hooked up to the back of it, so we had to call maintenance to come and fix. He didn't have one with him, so I'm not sure the issue was actually fixed or if he just pushed the dryer into the wall. 3. The trash bin outside has a hole on the back of it and some kind of animal got into it and shredded our bags. Trash was everywhere. 4. The beds were not comfortable, especially the master bedroom one. It was a memory foam, but with a metal bedframe underneath. After a long day of hiking, I just wanted to melt into a bed. Instead, I spent the whole night tossing and turning with my hips hurting. The pillows were also very thin and I'm glad I brought my own or I doubt I would have slept. The rest of the beds through the house were also very hard, but at least had a box spring. 5. In the double queen room, the bedframe sticks out from the wall and one of our peoples got a pretty nasty cut on their leg. I see this has been mentioned before in reviews, so I'm really surprised the owners have not addressed this yet. 6. There should be some steps to get to/from the lake. It's quite an incline and coming back up was challenging, especially with wet weather conditions. 7. We did love the location, and the covered porch was so awesome in the rain. Hot tub was nice and lots of space for 12 of us.
