"Let's go to the saloon where you can throw peanuts shells on the floor!" That was what my friend said when a group of us were looking to go somewhere different. Such a place resides along Highway 579 in Alberta - the Water Valley Saloon. This eclectic stop along the highway is loved by locals and bikers passing through on their way to the Rocky Mountains. The food is great and so is the service. You will feel right at home in this cozy haunt. Don't forget to get your free basket of peanuts so you can toss the shells on the floor after your feast.
