The rooms were clean and comfortable, but a bit on the small side. It was nice that we were able to pull our vehicle right up outside our room and unload there. The first night my husband enjoyed having a drink in the upstairs bar. His server, Tiffany, was fantastic. The following night we tried to eat in the pub downstairs, but were not able to because it was booked by tour groups for a show. It was disappointing that we couldnât sit in the bar as patrons of the hotel. We then sat on the patio to have dinner. The service was terrible. It took forever for them to take our orders. Other guests were also very vocal in their displeasure. Then it started to rain, and because of the booking inside, we were not allowed to go inside. The location was great however, very nice to walk the waterfront.
The hotel was nice and quiet. They should clean behind the bathroom doors and maybe change/clean the carpets. Restaurants were good. Staff were friendly.
Great location. Bad attitude by the lady up at the Bistro upstairs. We didn't know you needed reservations. Both nights at 4 am someone was hammering in the maintenance room next door. Patio was great as was staff. Starting to get a little outdated. (The room)
I didnât like the fact that I had to switch a room
I didnât like not knowing why I had to pay to the hotel for 3 days and charged one day to Expedia
Best accommodation in the area. If you are visiting Gros Morne Park this is your best option. It does however sits about 1h drive of the beautiful tablelands and green gardens and trout river. Luckily the drive has a beautiful scenery and lots of lookout view and some smaller trails on the way.
Largest hotel in Rocky Harbour offering all amenities needed. The rooms were very clean but dated in style . The breakfast and dinner in the upstairs dining room was excellent having cordial staff . We felt the front desk staff at times were lacking in friendliness and seemed abrupt. Great view of the harbour !
