« We just wanted a quiet get away for a couple of days close to the North Cascades. We had hoped to see the fall foliage but it turned out we came a couple weeks early for the best of that. We stopped by the ranger station there in Darrington, and then drove up to Rockport and on to Newhalem to see what fall leaves we could. The cabin was quiet, clean and cozy. We loved sitting in the hot tub on the back deck and also sitting beside the Sauk River in the back of the property. »

« My wife and I traveled from Texas to stay at this cabin because of the beautiful photos, amenities, and location in the listing— and wow, it exceeded our expectations. From the moment we stepped inside, we were welcomed by a cozy, clean cabin stocked with everything we could possibly need.We spent most of our time down by the river, reading, making s’mores, and simply enjoying the peacefulness of being surrounded by nature. « This was an excellent property. It was quiet and secluded just as advertised. The hot tub was so clean, they even have sandals for you to walk down to the hot tub. There is a trail leading to a waterfall that is one of the prettiest trails we took on out trip. The host had a book that had information on everything in the cabin and of all the dining and hiking in the surrounding area. Wonderful stay! »

« We just got back from a fantastic 5 days at the Glacier Hideaway with 3 kids along. The property was great, although probably maxed out with 3 kids, and host Shrey was very responsive and understanding. There were plenty of table and yard games to use in the large central field. We relaxed in the hot tub after some extensive hikes. Thanks for the great stay! »

« My wife and I enjoyed our stay at your Eagle cabin. It was a relief not having to hear trains at night as was the case with our stays in Index and Cashmere. I would have placed your cabins nearer the road with a view of Mount Baker. It also would have been more personal had we been able to meet someone either checking in or out. »

« This property was the perfect site for a night in the woods. We did have some trouble with the hot tub as the water was bath water temperature. The 3 of us enjoyed our stay there very much. Thank you. »

« The property was spacious, clean, and we enjoyed a beautiful view of the Skagit River from the back porch and family room area. We used the home as a base for driving into the North Cascades National Park and doing day hikes. We did Cascade pass, Maple pass, and Blue Lake trails and then enjoyed the beautiful drive back to the rental home each day where we prepared a delicious meal using the grill and enjoying the dining area with a view of the river. « We had everything we needed in this lovely studio. We could walk to Chair 9 Pizza and the Wake n Bakery was just a 2 minute drive for breakfast. Cleaning lady was extremely nice and had everything in perfect shape. The only thing I would change is the description says “ 3 minute walk to Heliotrope Trail, but it’s actually a 23 minute drive. Still, a perfect place to stay »
