This upper-level, end-unit Rockaway Beach condo has some of the best ocean views from the large windows, as well as a covered deck with a picnic table, and easy beach access nearby. Your dogs can join in on the fun, too!

Beach access is a short walk away from this condo in the Getaway complex, with Twin Rocks offering a gorgeous background for photos a short distance south. Restaurants and shops in downtown Rockaway Beach are just a quick drive up the road from the condo. Rockaway

Beachfront is a plus for this 2 bedroom one bath. Lack of cleanliness was the overwhelming trend with pet hair in the bedding and towels. Discovered urine stained bedspread that has not been laundered on the twin beds. No soap and limited tp for the 5 days. Please note kitchen has amazing pots and dishes but no kitchen condiments and no sponges. The place had not clearly been vacuumed since we vacuumed it the first day and it filled the vacuum.

Beach getaway

Great location with the beach right in front of your window. Place was very clean & kitchen is very well stocked with pots & pans, dishes & coffee grinder which was very much appreciated. Very comfortable. Only thing is I wish the check out time was 11:00 instead of 10:00. We would definitely come back.

Great location

We enjoyed our stay at Getaway and will likely be back next year. Here are some pros and cons. PROS: Location was great! Right on the beach, beautiful view, and easy to go back and forth. The 2 separate rooms were nice and we felt it was enough space throughout for a family of 4 and a large dog. Also, very clean upon arrival. Bonus, there were sand toys to share and an easy to use hose to rinse off after a beach day. CONS: Main bedroom bed was not very comfortable and the pillows were flat. I’d bring your own if you can. The bathroom door didn’t latch or close all the way, which didn’t leave a lot of room for privacy. The bathroom light and fan are one unit and the fan is very loud every time you have to turn out the light, which wakes others up if someone needs the bathroom at night or early morning. Despite the cons, we will likely stay here again due to location to the beach and the downtown area.

Rockaway Beach Vacation

Our family had a great time staying here for our first trip to the Oregon Coast. During our stay our activities took us as far south as Newport and as far north as Astoria. We loved the Rockaway Beach location. It was much less busy and crowded than the other beach towns we visited. The unit provided just enough space for our family. It was great having a well-stocked kitchen and really enjoyed seeing the ocean from the unit. We loved being steps from the beach!

Nice clean little two bedroom place with good view of ocean and easy/close access to the beach and town. Shower is tiny but water pressure was great and water was hot. Overall very good stay.

The place has a great view. Just steps away from the beach. It is fairly small but was clean and well stocked. It was a very nice place to stay. We had a blast and will definitely go back!!

Pluses: Location right on the beach, well stocked with household items, very clean, not worn out as many short-term rentals are. Minuses: Smaller than the extreme wide-angle lens used in the photos would indicate. Uncomfortable seating (see below). Furniture: Main bed too firm/not at all cushy; twin beds seem fine; great dining table/chairs; chairs/couch not at all comfy. I know the couch is a sofa-bed, so it's probably unavoidably rigid. But the two chairs (not the ones shown in the photo) are not comfortable after a short time.

Nice stay, some issues to report

Pros . Nice location, steps away from the beach . People were friendly . Quite in spite of pet friendly condos . Kitchen had plenty of cooking utensils, etc. . Decent Wi-Fi Cons . Security key box defective - we barely were able to retrieve the main door key! I hope they replace it with a new one. . Kitchen vent fan has no outlet duct and cooking fumes are directed in the condo . No washer & dryer (bummer!!)

Great location

We enjoyed staying in this little condo. It was nice to have access to the beach and have a view of an ocean from a living room. This condo is smaller in size, but considering the fact that we were enjoying the beach and the surroundings most of the time, it didn’t bother us at all. The property was clean and had well stocked kitchen and plenty of towels. It would have been nice to have more of a shampoo and conditioner (there was one of each tiny travel size), considering we had 4 people staying for 4 days, but we managed with what was provided. Otherwise it was a great mini vacation.

Quaint place for a summer getaway!

Quick access to the beach! Easy check in and out. Plenty of parking space Accommodating for a single family. Towels for beach and shower. Close enough to a handful of beach towns for a fun filled week!
