« We had a great time at Rectory Manor, a lovely old georgian country house set in mature garden of trees and lawn with a swimming pool and tennis court if you want some exercise. Our room (the Hudson) was furnished in the country house style and was supremely comfortable. The only downside was the bathroom was a bit small and slightly dated. « The property was tastefully furnished which reflected its historical past. There was a spacious sitting room for use by guests and a kitchen equipped for the heating and simple cooking of meals. The tasty breakfasts were cooked to order with locally sourced ingredients. There was a small but pleasant garden with suitable seating areas. The staff were always welcoming, helpful and friendly. « Lovely place to stay, just outside of Sudbury town centre. Room was cosy, bed lovely and comfortable with a great shower. Owners were really friendly and helpful and the breakfast options were great and tasty. It's not walking distance to any evening food options, so you will need a car if staying there, but Sudbury is only 10 minutes away. »

« What an amazing location, set in the middle of an expanse of fields my as I drove down the road that leads to the mill there were rabbits, deer and pheasants scattering in front of the car. The gardens and pond are beautiful and the room perfectly clean and the mill has been renovated to an incredibly high standard. An early breakfast of home made bread with coffee watching the sun rise over a unbroken vista of fields not another house in sight. I found the mill by accident when traveling for...
