Dream House Getaway

This house is so beautiful. Very well located for exploring the Thousand Islands. Everything is perfect, a space in the forest, very well equipped for a group stay, the energy is excellent, we all slept very well. And close to an excellent restaurant, for those who want a good meal outside. The owner is very welcoming and kind, which helped give him a 10/10 rating. We highly recommend this location, for a group of up to 8 people, we were 5 to fully enjoy the beauty of the place and the newly built house. / Cette maison est tellement belle. Très bien située pour découvrir les alentours des Mille-Iles. Tout est parfait, un espace en forêt, très bien équipée pour un séjour de groupe, l’énergie est excellente, nous avons tous très bien dormi. Et à proximité d’un excellent restaurant, pour ceux qui veulent un repas à l’extérieur. Le propriétaire est très accueillant, d’une grande gentillesse, ce qui a contribué à lui donné un 10/10. Nous recommandons fortement cet emplacement, pour un groupe allant jusqu’à 8 personnes, nous étions 5 pour profiter pleinement de la beauté de l’endroit et de la maison nouvellement construite. This is a beautiful property. Everything exactly as pictured.Location was private but an easy drive to activities and nearby villages. Our host Dwayne was friendly and welcoming and met us at the property to make sure everything was okay.We would definitely stay here again.

Lakes Mini Break

The property was perfect for our stay. We had driven from Niagara and was greeted by the owner who was warm, friendly and welcoming. Comfortable bedrooms, spacious living spaces, excellently equipped kitchen and outdoor facilities. The location was central enough in the lakes to provide access to other areas. Conveniently located near shops within ten minutes. Quiet, scenic and very comfortable. Would stay again.

Lovely Cottage Home in Nature

We had a group of six friends staying at this lovely cottage and we had a great time. The area in the cottage is quite secluded, but there is room to relax at the fire pit or out on the deck. The cottage has many spots to relax, lots of games to play, and the kitchen is well equipped to make any meal you need. Can't wait to come back!

Great Place

My wife and I plus 3 grandkids were here for a week. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. There was a nature preserve down the road with a 2.8 km hiking trail, helped tired the kids out. Westport, a town close by, had a really nice beach. The cabin had everything we needed. Dwayne was great to deal, would definitely stay here again.

Great getaway place

We loved the location of the cottage - being on the main floor felt like sitting in the treetops; very peaceful. The cottage itself was spotless and very well equipped- home away from home. Everyone loved the campfire, with the firewood already provided! Dwayne was an amazing host and truly attentive to our needs - we felt truly spoiled!

Dwayne was there to meet us and explain all the amenities. I and my two adult daughters had a wonderful, restful weekend. The beds were comfortable, the linens were new and fresh, and the setting was all that we needed in this newly built cabin. We would recommend it to anyone looking for a getaway in the midst of the woods.

Excellent return visit

This was our second time staying here. The place was super clean and well stocked to meet our needs. We spent lots of time on the porch listening to the birds and later spotted a deer on the property. Lots of fireflies too! We will be returning.

Even better than expected

The host was flexible, accommodating and accessible. The cabin was beautiful and clean with a cozy outdoor porch and large deck overlooking a forested atea. We saw deer, a fox and many birds. The host thought of all the small details. We will book again for sure.

Cabin Getaway

A gorgeous new cabin nestled on a beautiful, private property, offering all the comforts of home in the great outdoors. There's plenty of space for the whole family both inside and out, with a lovely deck and fire pit perfect for evening relaxation. The property is incredibly peaceful, yet there’s plenty to do nearby—beaches, scenic hiking trails, charming restaurants, and shopping in quaint villages. The 1000 Islands cruise is only a half-hour away, and we enjoyed exploring the nearby towns around the region’s stunning lakes. Nature lovers will especially appreciate the wildlife—deer and various bird species were frequent visitors to the property. We highly recommend this place and look forward to returning soon. The owners are friendly, attentive, and clearly take great pride in their property and guests.

Wonderful summer stay.

I booked this beautiful property for my family to get away from the city and reconnect. We absolutely loved it. The space was clean and nicely equipped. Especially the kitchen, its important to us as we do cook quite a bit. The property is private and very quiet, just a short drive to cute little towns and Gananoque. The bunkbed is noisy/squeaky but all other beds were very comfortable. Highly recommend this property.

We stayed at this lovely property July 20 - 27. The cottage was clean, spacious, and tasteful. The host met us at the property to give us a tour and extra information about the cottage. The cottage was so well designed with enough bathrooms and bedrooms to allow us for a comfortable stay. The host was very communicative and gave us a tour, answered all our questions and knew where things were in the vicinity in case we needed to access anything. My favourite part was every time I thought I needed a specific utensil in the kitchen and it wouldn’t be there, it was!! The host clearly thought of everything!

Amazing place amazing host

The moment we walked in the place we were in awe of how beautiful Dwayne’s cottage is! We could tell that he put so much love in this place and want people to love it as much as he does. We spent time in every corner of this place and loved every single bit of it. The cottage is super clean and modern but also very very cozy. It has all the amenities you can ask for. Dwayne is also such a lovely host who came greeted us both check in and check out. He gave us so much information not just about the cottage but the areas around. We will definitely be back!
