The Divine Cottage: Woodsy Hideaway!

Welcome to our charming and cozy 3-bedroom, 1-bath home in Richmond, VA 23234! Full of character, this peaceful retreat is tucked away by the woods, offering comfort and relaxation. Modern amenities make your stay easy and enjoyable, and dogs are welcome! Perfect for business or leisure, this home is your ideal home-away-from-home.

Step inside the front door and you`ll be greeted by a tastefully decorated and spacious living room that’s perfect for relaxation, with large windows that let in plenty of natural light, a dedicated workspace, ample and comfortable seating, as well as a large flat-screen Roku TV for your entertainment.

This main floor boasts two cozy bedrooms; one with a queen-sized bed with dresser and night-stand storage, and the other contains a twin over full bunk bed. Both bedrooms are equipped with flat-screen Roku TVs.

Calling all billiards enthusiasts! The real showstopper of this house is the pool table, with pool balls and cue sticks provided.

Proceed upstairs for your breakfast, lunch and dinner needs. Our kitchen is equipped with a compact oven, stove, microwave, Keurig coffee maker, compact fridge and freezer and other basic essentials, with plenty of cabinet and drawer space for kitchen gizmos and gadgets.

The upstairs living room is as comfy as your favorite pair of pajamas with a queen-sized pull-out couch, chairs, warm throw blankets, carpeted floors, a floating bar with seating for four, and a flat-screen Roku TV for your entertainment needs.

Upstairs, you’ll also find the plush master bedroom, equipped with a queen-sized bed, dresser and night-stand storage, and a flat-screen Roku TV. All bedrooms include fresh linens.

Closest to the master bedroom is the recently renovated, well-lit and full-sized bathroom featuring a stand-up shower, fresh towels and basic toiletries.

**Please note, this is the only bathroom at the property and does require climbing stairs**

Outside, you`ll find a lovely yard with tons of trees. Enjoy the peace and quiet of the outdoors. There is also a charcoal grill available for your use if you want to enjoy a barbecue cookout with friends and family.

The yard offers a brick patio with a couple hammocks for the ultimate relaxation. Enjoy an outdoor dinner on the picnic table while you watch (or play!) a game of cornhole.

Whether you`re in town for business or pleasure, this location is the perfect home away from home for your needs.

Please note: The property owners live on-site, about 150 yards away, and your privacy is fully respected. Please note that there is a friendly dog, an outdoor cat, and chickens on their property.

At the end of the neighborhood, as you continue onto the wooded road, please drive slowly and carefully cross the small concrete bridge onto the gravel roadway. The home is tucked away in a secluded, rural area — perfect for privacy, but it requires a bit of extra caution.

Please note:

The backroads can be narrow and uneven in places, especially after rain.

There may be low-hanging branches and occasional muddy patches — especially during heavy downpours when the nearby creek can rise.
Motorcycles and low-clearance vehicles are not recommended for this drive.

Oversized vehicles may find it difficult to navigate the small concrete bridge that crosses the creek.
In inclement weather, all-wheel or four-wheel drive is highly recommended.

The house is located at the end of a historic mid-century gravel road, originally used before the surrounding subdivisions were built and preserved today to offer maximum privacy and seclusion. You will cross a small private bridge that connects the neighborhood to this quiet road. Take it slow and you will find our home.

The entirety of the home is accessible to guests with the exception of a hospitality closet located on the upper floor off of the living room and a utility closet downstairs in the foyer. The property owners` house is located on the property; guests are welcome to the brick patio with the picnic table and hammocks.

Located in a quiet neighborhood, the home is just a short drive away from downtown Richmond. Our home is conveniently situated near a variety of restaurants, shopping centers, and local attractions. Whether you`re looking to shop, dine, or explore the local attractions, there is something for everyone in the area surrounding our home in Richmond, Virginia. The property is also conveniently located near major highways, making it easy to get around the city. We are confident that you will have a wonderful stay at our home and look forward to hosting you soon!

There is ample parking in front of the property. Ride-sharing services like Uber and Lyft are available here. However, to ensure a smooth arrival for your driver, please provide them with the specific directions we provide you.

There is NO access to a washing machine or dryer. There are nearby laundromats in town.

It is of significance to acknowledge that your current location situates you within a rural environment. Consequently, it is anticipated that the prevalence of insects will surpass what you may typically encounter. Furthermore, there exists the potential for encounters with raccoons, snakes, and various other forms of wildlife that might deviate from your accustomed encounters.

We have one security camera at the front entrance which actively records the exterior and public areas of the property at all times, including during reservations.
