The Space:

- Residential neighborhood near the Sandy River

- 4 bedrooms sleeping 10 people comfortably: 1 king bed room, 2 queen bed rooms, one bunk room (partitioned) with 2 bunk beds (4 twin beds)

- 2 full bathrooms with bathtubs

- Dog friendly- fully fenced backyard (1-2 dogs only, no cats please)

- Outdoor living space: 6 person hot tub and large covered sitting area

- Family friendly: Pack ’n Play by advance request, subject to availability and delivery (not stored onsite), highchair, small kids playroom, plenty of toys/books, kids plates/utensils

- Kitchen with cookware, an Instant Pot, popcorn maker and waffle maker

- Separate game house with games + TV; 2 smart TVs

- Tesla-type electric vehicle charger; please confirm connector compatibility



Guest Access:

The house and separate backyard game house are yours, with no shared guest spaces.

The Neighborhood:

Amazing location near the neighborhood tennis court, basketball court and playground. The Mount Hood area offers world-class downhill skiing, cross country skiing, snow tubing, and thrilling downhill mountain biking in the Summer. Beautiful alpine hiking and biking trails are everywhere. Grocery stores and restaurants can be found just down the street in Brightwood and in Welches down Hwy 26. If you don't feel like driving to the mountain, Mt. Hood Express serves the Highway 26 corridor; check current stops and schedules.



Getting Around:

🚶 Walking — This mountain retreat is nestled in the Mt. Hood area, surrounded by nature. While not a walkable urban setting, the peaceful surroundings and outdoor recreation more than make up for it.



🚗 Driving — A car is recommended for getting around. The area is well connected via US-26. Free parking at the property.



🏔️ Recreation — Plan outings to Mt. Hood ski resorts and hiking trails, or enjoy the nearby Sandy River. Brightwood and Welches offer groceries, dining and supplies along Highway 26.



✈️ Airport — Allow for traffic and mountain weather when driving to PDX via US-26 West.



Other Things to Note:

The neighborhood pool is off-property and seasonal. Please confirm operating dates, hours and guest access before planning to use it.



SECURITY CAMERA ON PROPERTY: We do have a sign out by the garage and the ring camera is to the left of the entrance to the house not on the door.



🐾 Dog-Friendly Space

We welcome 1-2 dogs only; no cats, please. Our cleaning team cleans between stays, though we can't guarantee 100% dander-free for allergy-sensitive guests



⏰ Quiet Hours, including Hot tub:

10 PM - 8 AM (house rules). Keep outdoor voices at a whisper level during quiet hours, including when using the hot tub.



🚭 No Smoking or Vaping

Smoking and vaping are not allowed anywhere on the property, indoors or outdoors. Guests who wish to smoke or vape must leave the property completely.



The outdoor fire pit is unavailable under the property's current fire rules. If cooling, Wi-Fi, refrigerator or BBQ use is essential for your stay, please confirm the current setup before booking. Please also ask about the upstairs bathtub stopper and current backyard conditions.



The partitioned bunk room has an open wall area, so sound can carry between levels. River access is across the street, rather than on the property. A team member may access the garage for garbage collection.



Interaction with Guests:

We're available by message anytime and typically respond within minutes. We're local to Portland and happy to help with anything - from restaurant recommendations to a quick answer at midnight when you can't find something. We keep a hands-off approach unless you need us, and when you do, we're right there.
