Summary:
Fabulous apartment with an amazing view in Reykjavik. View over, amongst others, HallgrĂ­mskirkja, Harpa music hall, the harbour and Perlan. Three bedrooms, main bedroom with en suite and main bathroom with washing machine and dryer. Walking distance to restaurants, shopping and nightlife, but in a more tranquil area close to the sea side.

The Space:
The apartment can accommodate five people. The apartment has a large kitchen/living area, with an amazing view. It has 3 bedrooms, one with a king sized bed en suite bathroom and a walk in closet, second bedroom has a queen size bed, and third bedroom has a single bed.

The apartment comes with a fully-equipped kitchen that offers everything from a full-size stove and oven, dishwasher and microwave to cookware, tableware, and utensils.

The bathroom has a bathtub, a washer, dryer and a hairdryer.
The on-suite bathroom has a walk in shower.

Cots, cribs, high seats and other children/baby furniture are available upon request.

Guests have access to the whole apartment. Everything within the apartment is private and for you to use at your convenience.

The Neighborhood:
The apartment is at the heart of ReykjavĂ­k, in a quiet area but central for many activities, museums, and restaurants to explore.

Enjoy a walk in the seaside of Reykjavik and visit the Sun Voyager and Harpa, one of Reykjavik's greatest landmarks. It is a cultural and social center in the heart of the city.

Start your day at Hlemmur Mathöll food hall for an early brunch before you are ready to visit local museums, like the Settlement Exhibition or the National Museum of Iceland.

As you are walking down Laugavegur, you will get the change to buy local souvenirs and visit boutiques with high-end products, most of which are Icelandic designed and produced.

Getting Around:
There is a pickup/drop off location for tours and airport transfers nearby called "Bus Stop 12 - Höfðatorg".

The apartment at the heart of ReykjavĂ­k, so most museums and activities are in a walking distance.

If you like to visit Perlan (panoramic view to Reykjavik), you can take the Hop On-Hop Off at "Hofdi House" or use the nearby central bus station Hlemmur. Both stops are within walking distance.

There is an underground (paid) parking garage under BrĂ­etartĂșn 9. There is also paid street parking outside, which is free between 9pm-9am.

Other Things to Note:
There is street parking in the area, free of charge after 21:00 till 9:00 in the morning, and a parking garage (paid) under the building. It cost 24 hours but the price is very affordable after 21:00. No reservation needed. Most of the area surrounding BrĂ­etartĂșn is P2 Pay Zone.

We recommend purchasing travel insurance for your trip to Iceland, which covers issues as delayed baggage, travel accidents, weather trip cancellations and emergency overseas medical. EU members can use their European Health Insurance Card in Iceland (medical expenses).

Very good place to stay!

Stayed at this apartment with family of five. Property was spacious, clean and beautiful. Very easy to walk downtown or use public transportation. Plenty of restaurants within close walking distance. Communication with property management was great and check in was very easy.

Great location!

We just left this property after a 4 night stay. We could not be more pleased with the apartment and the location. The accommodations were exactly as described. They even had fans which was so nice. This property is in walking distance of anything in Reykjavík. The parking was tricky at first
 just finding it and figuring how to get up to the hotel but after a few days, we figured it out. Would definitely stay at this property again.

Incredible city views.

With in nice walking distance to most restaurants and activities. Very quite safe street. Comfortable walking at any one of the day. Try to park on the street at night. It will save you allot of money.

Gorgeous condo with amazing views and ample space

Outstanding condo with everything one might need for a great stay. One block from bus stop 12 which is where most of the excursions pick up passengers. Great restaurants nearby. We particularly loved Reykjavik Kitchen and Old Iceland restaurant. Nearby supermarket and very close to Laugavegur Street which is lovely. We walked everywhere. Perfect stay.

Amazing Reykjavik apartment

We stayed for 2 nights over Christmas. The flat is absolutely lovely and the host very helpful. Highly recommend! The only suggestion would be better guidance to find the proper elevator from the garage under the building. It was very confusing on arrival but once we found the right door which is where night behind the first pay station at the base of the entry ramp from the street (but unmarked), we were able to quickly access the apartment elevator directly which helped tremendously with our bags.

Fabulous apartment!

When our original VRBO host cancelled on us 3 hours before our flight was leaving we scrambled to find another place. Our host at this VRBO was so friendly and so accomodating to us -- especially when this was last minute. The apartment was beautiful and very spacious - with 3 big bedrooms, huge living room to hang out in and a washer and dryer. The check in process was smooth and the key code worked perfectly. We were able to find free on street parking nearby. There is a grocery store very close and many bust stops. Would highly recommend this place to anyone staying in this part of Iceland!

SPACIOUS ICELANDIC SPLENDOR

This property is perfect for a group of 4-6 people. It's views are panoramic, the space ample, clean and conveniently located to restaurants. We appreciated the washer/dryer as we all were traveling with carry-ons. The common space is comfortable for socializing with the bedrooms providing private TV viewing.
