Light and room to breathe: large windows fill the open-plan living area with natural light, and the bedroom extends into a versatile corner for reading, yoga or meditation.

Central and easy: a private entrance, self check-in and a hotel reception team in town for help during your stay.

The space
- Living area: sofa and a dining table that also works as a desk.
- Kitchen: stove, oven, microwave, refrigerator plus a separate mini fridge, electric kettle, coffee maker, cooking basics, dishes, cutlery and wine glasses.
- Bedroom: 1 queen bed.
- Bathroom: large shower, hair dryer, shampoo and body soap; the washing machine is here too.

Practical: air conditioning, TV, Wi-Fi, safe, drying rack, bed linen, towels, extra pillows and blankets, hangers, iron and ironing board.

You have the whole apartment to yourselves, reached through its own private entrance: the open-plan living area and kitchen, the bedroom with its reading and yoga corner, the bathroom with the washing machine, the north-facing private courtyard with the jacuzzi and the south-facing private garden.

Self check-in is from 16:00, and video instructions for the entrance are provided.

We, the Crete Holiday Home team, look after your stay. Our central reception is off site, at one of our hotels in Rethymno, and can help with information, recommendations and guest services throughout your stay.

We are available daily from 09:00 to 18:00 (07:00 to 23:00 from April to October), with direct support by mobile phone during these hours.

Urban Brown is set in the heart of Rethymno town, only a short walk from the Old Town. Everyday essentials are close by: a pharmacy about 300 m away, a doctor at around 600 m and a supermarket at about 700 m. Cafés are roughly 1 km away, the beach about 1.4 km and the main sightseeing spots around 1.5 km, so you can explore much of the town on foot.

Good to know before booking:
- Check-in from 16:00, check-out by 10:00; early check-in or late check-out subject to availability.
- Up to 2 guests; unregistered guests and visitors are not permitted.
- Quiet hours are 23:00-08:00. This is a residential neighbourhood, so please keep noise low, especially outdoors and in the stairwell.
- No parties or events. Pets are not allowed. Smoking is permitted outdoors only.
- ID details are required for all guests under Greek law.
- Cleaning: for stays of up to 7 days, cleaning with fresh towels and amenities every 4 days; for longer stays, a full clean every 7 days plus fresh towels and amenities.
- Please let us know your expected arrival time in advance.

THE APARTMENT

· Maximum occupancy is limited to the number of guests on the reservation.
Unregistered guests and visitors are not permitted.
· Smoking is permitted outdoors only, never inside the apartment.
· No parties, events or gatherings.
· Pets are not allowed.
· Please keep windows and doors closed while the A/C is running.

THE BUILDING

· Quiet hours: 23:00–08:00. We are in a residential neighbourhood and our neighbours live here year-round. Please keep noise to a minimum, especially outdoors and in the stairwell.
· Please dispose of rubbish in the municipal bins before departure.

GENERAL

· Please report any damage or malfunction to our service desk immediately.
· Hot Water: To turn on the hot water, please check the main electrical board for the fuse with the grey button. Press the grey button, and the water will heat up automatically within approximately 20 minutes.
· The cleaning schedule is as follows:
For bookings of up to 7 days, the cleaning lady comes every 4 days and provides fresh towels and amenities.
For bookings longer than 7 days, the cleaning lady provides a full cleaning once every 7 days, in addition to fresh towels and amenities.
· Guests are responsible for the keys. A replacement fee applies for lost keys. If you are locked outside, please call Locksmith (if you get locked out) at +30 697 405 4000.
· ID details are required for all guests, as required by Greek law.
