"This is the 2nd time we have stayed at Amthweight Hall, the accommodation was excellent, as was the staff, they couldn't do enough for you. The breakfast was 10 out of 10, and again, very helpful, as my wife wanted her coffee a paticular temperature, and strength, they bent over backwards to make her perfect cup of coffee !! The grounds and the building, are kept immaculate. The Spa facilities, again 10 out of 10, gym, sauna, steam room, plunge pool, swimming pool and outside hot pool, plenty of loungers. Looking forward to our next stay. "

"Overall good, the layout and general quality of the lodge was good. The location is good if a bit isolated. There are some negatives. Generally clean however there were a few old splats on the walls that a bit of care and diligence could have removed. Appliances were patchy - wine cooler didn’t work at all, fridge was a bit temperamental and the oven took an eternity to warm up."

"A lovely lodge evening was clean and like new. Only downside was the mattress was very uncomfortable and the bathroom light was on a sensor which went off mid shower!"

"There was a bit of wear and tear but it did not negate the holiday. It’s an amazing place. The wild flowers, rabbits and birds are the best we have come across."

"Lodge comfortable . Settees a little dated . 3 bathrooms. Only fault was one shower was scalding. We did report . Came to fix . But it was not done . Needs a new Thermostat. So has to be ordered. So we used other 2 showers . Stunning views from lodge Beds comfortable and warm . Lodge lovely warm considering it’s December . Fab holiday"
