« River’s Bend cottage is a delightful place to stay whether to rock on the porch, grill dinner outside, or hike or raft along the Upper James River. Our host was easily available to reach and was responsive to our questions and requests. »

« This is one of the best VRBOs we have ever stayed at...the location was great for our needs, the cabin was very clean and cozy, they have all the amenities for staying in to grill and chill! Lovely views of the vineyards with mountains in the background, beautiful walking trails, a fishing pond stocked with plenty of bass and bream. The best part about it all is that you're completely secluded and surrounded by nature. We will definitely be back! »

Great coffee & food: Sycamore Station, Salem & Lemon & Vale Cakery, New Castle. See covered bridges near Newport & Dismal Falls. Easy scenic drive to Beartown Park, West Virginia, with awesome boardwalk thru stunning rock formations. »
