« This place is a dream, the domain is so beautiful and well maintained. Room was super nice and well designed. The infinity pool is absolutely magical. Only a couple of things to note, it’s quite remote so tuktuk fees are to be expected (don’t book via hotel to avoid paying double) and restaurant serves expensive fusion food only. »

« The hotel is certainly not up to the standard of a 5 star as well as the price they charge. Our room was supper dirty and we had to ask for a change. The next room was acceptable but still very dirty. The rooms look run down and not well maintained. We did the Tepaniaki experience and were charge 130 € which is a LOT in Sri Lanka and it was no where near a real Tepaniaky experience. I recommend you avoid it! Do not take a Tintin from any of the staff they are in on it with the one parked across...

« Amazing hotel. Great staff, very boutique feeling with amazing decoration (balinese style). We stayed with our 3 children (9,7,2) in a family room, room 206, and the hotel felt perfect for kids. The pool has a shallow area, the beach area is safe and the hotel lended us some bodyboards for our older kids to play with in the sea. Note that the bedroom balcony doors do not close 100% by design so you will heqr the waves at all time (which we liked to go to sleep) but it may not be for everybody....

« What a beautiful gem of a boutique hotel nestled on a hill surrounded by nature. Our room was beautiful, comfortable and spacious. It was tastefully designed and filled with personal touches such as books and beautiful photographs. The restaurant called The Dutch is superb. The daily breakfast menu was our favourite breakfast on this trip to Sri Lanka. The entire property is exceptional. We can’t wait to return. »

« Le lieu est très reculé : c’est au pied de la forêt de Sinheraja. Le cadre est donc très sympa. La piscine est elle aussi super. Côté nourriture, c’est bon mais moins savoureux que ce que l’on a pu voir ailleurs. En tout cas, c’est copieux. Les hébergements sont sommaires. »

« This place provides everything you need for an awesome beach experience. Booked the luxury suit for 6 people, love the 2-level layout with 2 bathrooms, 2 king beds and 2 single beds with its own private area. Super clean room and linen, excellent and friendly service, plus amazing beach view and easy beach access! The food and drinks at the restaurant were pretty good too! The only shortcoming is a lack of an elevator which I was told will be addressed soon. Highly recommend! »
