Bienvenue au Cottage Dawn. Un chalet adorable et confortable récemment rénové à quelques pas de la plage. Ce deux lits, deux salles de bain, la maison debout libre qui dort 6 est votre escapade parfaite. Situé sur la célèbre plage de Broadkill, un lieu charmant pour se détendre et se renouveler. L'espace est simple et serein, mais a tout ce dont on a besoin.

My family and I had a wonderful stay! The house was extremely clean. I have a crawling baby on the floor so, I was thankful! Beach access was close, area was quiet. Streets are walkable. Donuts at the local Broadkill store made our stay extra sweet. I will definitely book again.

We had a wonderful weekend getaway. The location was incredibly quiet—perfect for relaxing and disconnecting. The house was clean, well-equipped, and beautifully maintained. Ideal spot for anyone looking to unwind, with the beach just a short walk away. Will definitely stay again!

Our stay at the cottage was fantastic! The location was beautiful and quiet and just a quick walk to the beach. The house was very clean upon our arrival. Dawn's Cottage was perfect!! We were looking for a quiet beach neighborhood between Frederica and Rehobeth and it absolutely fit the bill. One road in and out and nestled between some marsh and the ocean, everything was clean and neat, the space was roomy and had all the amenities we needed, and communication was just about instantaneous. Would absolutely recommend to anyone looking for the same.

My wife, son and our dog spent three days and nights at Dawn's cottage which we enjoyed very much. The house was exactly as described and with two bedrooms and baths, it was the right size for our little group. We sat out on the front deck in the mornings for coffee, reading and chatting, then strolled across the street to the beach... very convenient. Although it was a bit breezy while we were there, we walked on the beach every morning and afternoon plus spent time fishing and flying our kite. Our dog especially liked the many new smells on the shore. All in all, an excellent break from our usual hectic routines, and we will try to return in the Fall. Thank you.

Dawn's Cottage is absolutely adorable and the perfect place to decompress, relax, and celebrate my birthday and our anniversary. Loved the remote location and beach access, yet still easy to get to Lewes & Rehoboth. We enjoyed trying out some of the hot spots in the helpful binder of local restaurants and attractions. Thanks Gina and Rodney for being such great hosts!

The house was very nice, however The location is not the best. The beach is very isolated and has a lot of dead Horseshoe Crabs. There was a 25 to half an hour drive to a market and or entertainment. The location is very inconvenient to someone with a small child not to mention the smell of the beach. Or marsh

This is the second time we stayed here and I can't say enough about how satisfied we were/are with the location and property/accommodations (satisfied with the cleanliness too!). It is comfortable to hang and watch tv, to cook and enjoy a meal together or sit on the wrap around porch/deck and talk. The bedroom w/ attached shower/powder is a plus (although petite!), washer and dryer - great, the proximity to the beach and the privacy/lack of crowds is wonderful. The trip to Lewes, Henlopen, Rehoboth and beaches/site south is very doable for an evening - even the obligatory OC Boardwalk visit is only about 1 hr one way. This trip, we ventured to Trap Pond State Park and canoed, it was lovely! Finally, we travel with dogs and they love the beach walks and wading and hanging on the deck with Mom and Dad! Thank you Gina - we really enjoyed our vacation at Dawn's Cottage!

The location is perfect for families. Leads to a quiet area of the beach. The house was clean and functioning. We were able to stay at the beach and come back to the house easily! Was everything we needed for a family of 5. Only recommendation is to bring bug spray because after 3pm, the flies are aggressive.

This was our third time staying at Dawn’s cottage, and it never disappoints. The house itself is always clean, no issues with the check in process, and host is a pleasure to work with. Gina is very communicative and helpful with any and all questions. We will continue to come back to this house every summer as long as it’s available.

What a lovely beach cottage we found~loved hanging out in tge cottage or beach while my husband was taking his Capt’s test in Lewes M~S What a great spot he had to study and relax after~we loved the corner store for the Key Lime Ice Cream and fresh made donuts Sunday morning to take home to Cape May. My friends and I decided at the last minute to do a week-end at the beach. This place and was open and suited our needs as far as sleep accommodations, dogs allowed and walkable to the/a beach - especially one that allows dogs. Really glad it was available! We had a great trip and also enjoyed the Broadkill store and weekend donuts! If you need a little more excitement, Lewes, Henlopen, and Rehoboth/Dewey are not too far away.

My parent's, my dog and I enjoyed our stay at Dawn's Cottage in Broadkill. The home was clean upon arrival, outside and inside. Welcomed with a nice gift and a note. Wonderful out space under the house. There is a gas grill available. Just a few steps to the beach(just watch out for the cactus and a cactus/plant with really sharp burs, especially if your dog(s) is along). So many places are just a short drive away.

Amazing location. I was pleasantly surprised with Broadkill beach. You do have to prepare yourself for the bugs, but we knew that going in. Would definitely come here again.

Our family of 4 and dog had a great stay! The proximity to the beach was great! The wine and Dolles taffy was a very sweet welcome gift. The decor was super cute. The storage was plentiful and all the little trays, bins, etc made it really easy to keep things organized and tidy during our stay. We usually have to bring things like hand soap for the bathroom sinks, paper towels, napkins, etc. All of those items were supplied which was a nice surprise. There were some biting flies, but they weren't a big problem. We made sure to use bug spray and kept the outside fans, under the house, on when we were outside, and it wasn't an issue. Gina recommended a movie night on the beach, and it turned out to be one of our favorite evenings. My husband and I shared a bottle of wine while our boys enjoyed ice cream from the cute country store, while watching a movie under the stars with our feet in the sand. It felt very Americana and a great memory! Daily walks on the beach were so relaxing. The water was calm and the beach was never crowded. We had family staying in OC and made the trip up almost every night, so we didn't experience any local restaurants but breakfast and lunch from the local store was quick and easy. Overall a great time was had by all, and we will definitely be back.
