« We had come to the SE for an auntie’s memorial. Green Point Cottage gave us an opportunity to relax in a peaceful environment. The cottage is delightful and comfortable. Melissa is a great host. Answered all my messages promptly and when we met her, she was very welcoming and friendly. A great place to stay. I cannot praise it enough. « We were met at the gate by Sophie, property manager, who took us on a tour through her beautiful gardens and who was kind, welcoming and helpful throughout our four night stay. Jam, milk, cofee and tea were provided for us. The cottage is clean and well set out, with the second bed being a sofa bed which was suitable for one daughter but wouldn't have suited both. « This was an extremely disappointing property. It was rundown, outdated, (unnecessary clutter everywhere), unclean and in poor condition, inside and out. The cleanliness of the kitchen, with musty cupboards, dirty dishcloths, unclean cutlery and filthy fridge and BBQ was a disgrace. The precarious shower over the bath was an extreme safety issue and should be addressed with at least one safety rail.
