« My favorite VRBO. Spotless, warm and cozy. Hillary has supplied everything including spices, aluminum foil and robes no less! The cottage and the gardens are something out of a Hans Christian fairy tale. Hillary is incredibly responsive and clearly takes great care of the cottage with love. Pure perfection. »

« Beautifully appointed & remodeled. Plenty of towels, toiletries & top notch kitchenware. Inviting, comfy down comforter & empty dressers/night stands with plenty of outlets & giant TV in the bedroom. Beautiful living room with very comfortable furniture, another giant TV, throws & pillows to cuddle up & watch a movie. Incredible views of green, lush landscape. We can't wait to visit again! »

« Our hosts Jai and Bob were very helpful and communicated the couple little glitches they had way ahead of time. Our stay was excellent and the surroundings beautiful. Close to restaurants, hiking, and the coast. We will be staying again if we come back to Carmel Valley »

« This serene cottage was exactly what we needed. The bed was impressively comfortable and allowed us to get full night's of sleep, which is not the norm. The location could not have been better, central to everything but nestled away to provide the quiet we desired. The patio itself was a little oasis away from the hustle of daily life. And Chuck and Diane were absolutely wonderful, welcoming hosts. »

« Well appointed cottage in Seaside, less than a mile from beautiful urban walking trails & ocean/beach access. Easy drive to Monterey as well. Found tons of delicious local eateries too. Had some trouble accessing property upon arrival, perhaps because we were 30 minutes early or because our welcome email had the incorrect code. Instructions were a little unclear, you have to use the back door. Property management company answered promptly and we got an updated code very quickly. Minor feedback...

« We couldn't have been happier with our stay in Pacific Grove. Vivian is a great host, very accommodating and quick to answer any questions. The house was perfect for our needs. It has a well stocked kitchen, an area I could work remotely from, beautifully landscaped yard, and its in a great neighborhood just a few minutes drive to the beach. In addition to this, it was great being able to bring our dog with us for our stay. Would recommend this home for anyone looking to get away. »

The two fire places are wonderful and the house had every convenience we needed. Everything was very clean and neat. « The view alone is worth staying here. We had both back doors open any time we were there. The layout is perfect for enjoying the sound of the waves and the view of the sunset. « If the Whalers Cottage isn’t the definition of the word “CHILL!”, then I don’t know what else it could be! The soothing sounds of the ocean, crackling fireplace and solitude are outstanding and re-energizing! A fantastic place to come and decompress for couples or the family! « We are big renters on vrbo and think has been our favorite house yet. The beds are so comfortable!! when people are awake downstairs the people sleeping upstairs cannot hear them. This house is very cute with lots of charm and staged just right. If I had to force myself to complain about anything it would be that the kitchen isn’t stocked well.
