« Great stay even with rainy weather. The house was warm and comfortable. The view of the ocean is unbeatable. We stay here often to get away for a couple of days. Very peaceful. »

« Lovely house with plenty of cutlery and plates. It was warm when we arrived. Beds very comfortable. But took a good 20 min to get in due to stuck key. Wifi has diff codes on two separate books. Spa is a plastic. Pool, not expecting it to be avail in winter maybe say that though. But a 4 pm entry and the cost and having to take linen and the stuck key just put some shade on what was otherwise a great property. »

« Mataikona is a close drive to Castlepoint. The hill road is just how the host describes slow driving allows taking in the views.This house is a perfect location for a quiet get away. we went in winter but got our two days with no rain. The fireplace was awesome, almost too hot! »

« It's an older house that in its time would have been very fashionable. That said, the house was very comfortable and the views looking out over Wellington are absolutely amazing. Access to the house by car is a little tricky but Clare's instructions in how to handle that were specific and helpful.
