The complimentary wine let us finish the day just as well. The location was very convenient for exploring the surrounding wineries. We would definitely stay again. « We had a great time exploring Mintaro from our pet friendly miners cottage.Peppertree cottage had a warm cozy bed, clean linen and surrounds with bread, milk, and orange juice left for us along with a nice bottle of Mr Micks Riesling. « We had many problems in the cottage, starting with difficulty getting the key out of the black box. Unable to contact owner or maintenance man on either numbers given. Heater not working, control panel very grimy, freezer shelf badly in need of defrosting, outside back light not working, wood stove not working efficiently because of ashes from previous fires, and no pan or tools to clean it out with. Because heater not working, insufficient wood for wood fire. cobwebs in 2nd bedroom. »

« The property is too old & very tired. Needs lots of upgrades. Outside was dirty & unkept, rubbish bins overfilling thru out whole stay. There were mice in side. No coffee, or breakfast foods. . Unusual especially when you fly in late on a Sunday. People usually leave milk, bread, cereal & eggs etc. Two burners didn’t work, hair dryer didn’t work, some lights didn’t work.
