We were in Nelson for work, and it made an ideal base for us throughout our time there. A huge highlight was being able to have our dogs stay as well — this was such a bonus and something we greatly appreciated. « Stunning stay with family for a winter getaway. This property provided us with the most peaceful, idyllic location with everything that we needed. We found the beds very comfortable, and the shower was excellent (although we did run out of hot water after two 15min showers). We loved the use of the kayaks, too (yes, it was cold!) Overall, would highly recommend this place for a true Kiwiana experience. »

« This is a great home away from home. Warm and welcoming. 6 of us stayed (4 adults and two teenagers). Plenty of room so much space, never felt crowded. The kitchen was well equipped, large and well set out so no problem catering to everyone.Favourite room in the hous was the second living area, this area contains three seating areas a bar, fireplace, tv and a pool table. There was also a playstation for rainy days. The views were magnificent. A short drive from Havelock and can highly recommend...
