« Absolutely loved the location, tranquility, comfort and friendly family vibe of this cute cottage. I stayed by myself but will be back with my family. Note - no wifi or TV so it's a true de-connecting experience and it's great for the soul. »

« Heavy frost outside, cosy inside. We had a great Matariki weekend - biked from the house to do the Old Coach Road and also did a walk up the mountain. House was very warm and beds so comfortable. I bought a few more wine glasses for the recycling centre to top up the supply Cheers »

« The location of the bach is perfect, close to the beach and with the forest on your doorstep. Close to the dairy and the local restaurant too.The bach is amazing, clean, well appointed, having a fire was also great. Kim is a great communicator. We are about to book the next mini break here :) »

« Beautiful place to stay, and I have stay in some of the best places and this is one of them, it’s got everything that we needed, location is great, parking space is awesome, books and games for the family was well thought off, the laundry dry room was amazing, nice touch to the place, very clean and spacious for everyone, we just love this place, closer to the shops and beautiful walks and scenery all around this lovely little town, and the people are friendly. We will be back again. »

« Nice house. Heaters were on when we arrived and fire was laid ready. »

« We were 3 generations meeting for a long weekend. Our first group arrived well after dark on a cold night. The lights had been put on, as had heaters in all the rooms, it was so lovely not having to fumble around for lights in the cold. The house was perfect for our group. Lovely wood burner and plenty of wood. Beautiful view of the mountain when the clouds cleared. »
