« Magpie Cottage was beautifully furnished. Sympathetic to the era that Napier is known for. The amenities were more than ample, with every need catered for. The situation of the cottage was perfect. A street away from the beach, and close to the town centre. Highly recommend. »

« We had a very relaxing stay. The cottage is set in a beautiful rural area and yet only 45 minutes from the lake which is an absolute must to visit. Our only comment is to use caution with the kitchen taps as the hot water is very hot. »

« Annie was so accommodating with our arrival time and we had a lovely surprise waiting for us to enjoy our new years. The unit was well stocked and Annie had provided all we needed. The pool was lovely and refreshing and the pool area was lovely too. It was a great base for us to explore the Hawkes Bay. Really recommend this place to stay. »

« The cottage was perfect for our requirements, basically a comfortable place to sleep, facilities to prepare basic breakfast, clean and comfortable, It's proximity to Havelock North and Hastings suited our requirements. We would definitely stay again and it was well priced.No pool but had to rate this when submitting hence the one star. »

« The hosts made us feel very welcome. The cottage provided excellent furniture, lovely kitchen & dining equipment, and outdoor BBQ facilities. We loved the welcome pack of milk, bread, butter, eggs, tea, coffee, etc. The beds were extremely comfortable. We really appreciated the pretty cottage garden, and the paintings, sketches and photos on the walls. Thank you so much for a great spring break. »
