« We had a great time at the lodge! Many activities such as fishing, visiting an island of monkeys, and seeing a lot of wild animals. Given the fact that there is little or no electricity, we were able to disconnect ourselves for a few days in order to really relax. The rooms are very charming and the staff was great to answer questions and concerns. Our guide Manuel was great!! Very recomendable because he really knew his way along the jungle and never made us feel anything less than spectacular....

« My wife and I had an amazing time. We really loved it! Sandra and her team did everything they could to make our stay comfortable. We were fed well and the food was amazing! They really care about the rainforest and work with a local wildlife rescue that rescues animal and rehabilitates them to go back into the wild. « A peaceful property away from the loud-busy city. Walking into the lobby, feels welcoming and relaxing after traveling long distance. My daughters (9&12) loved the pool. I enjoyed the central tropic garden, the pool side seating and the simple, but varied breakfast menu. Also, hot water was always available! I need a few clothes laundered on arrival; they went out of their way to make it happen! Thank you for a great stay!!! I would definitely stay here again! »

« I did not expect a five star hotel in Iquitos but the Epoca was very poor. The wash basin had only cold water, the shower was impossible to regulate. It was either scaldingly hot or surprisingly cold. On one day there was no hot water. The bathroom was very small and not too clean. The internet was poor or often unavailable.
