« Highly recommend this Historic Cottage . Near town (walking distance) and serene. Beautiful gardens compliment this house . Everything we needed was there. Beds comfortable, warm, it has a fireplace but we didnt use it. Functional kitchen , and nice relaxing lounge area. So much History in this cottage and an EX Premier of the state owned it at one point . Plenty to see in the town , grab the Burra Pass, its well worth it. Very clean and neat place . »

« Excellent amenities, lovely home. Nice quiet area, could hear the birds sing all day I loved that. Easy walk/drive in to town, good instructions from owner. Greeted with lovely bread and jams on the counter top, and milk and condiments already in the fridge all things I don't expect at a stay. Thanks Fiona »

« The whole place was great. Very spacious and fitted the extra guests we had join us also. Wonderful views and everything we could have asked for in kitchen appliances! Very thoughtful also with bug spray for evenings, bathroom lotions supplied, and extra linen and blankets if needed. Gorgeous gardens both front & back. Highly recommend :-) »

« This property was very nice & centrally located. It was too large for our party of 3 but the property we originally booked had cancelled so we were left with little alternative than to book one of the remaining properties in the Barossa for the busy Christmas period. It was great to have access to air con, washing machine & they also had a coffee maker, microwave, fully functional kitchen, lovely crockery & cutlery, pots, pans, spa bath & great big TV. Recommended. »

« Beautiful property - the photos dont do it justice! There is a beautiful garden filled with birds and the cottage itself is large, with generous-sized bedrooms and multiple living areas.Its super quiet and relaxing and perfect for a group of friends to catch up!Lisa is a fantastic host and made communication a breeze. The large amount of breakfast provisions was wonderful also.We will be staying here again if we are anywhere near the barossa! »

« Ernie's Acre was a perfect stay for 2 couples plus a fur baby. House was superb with everything you could need including a gate to ensure fur baby did not wander. Communication with Sue was quick and easy. Oh, and the views from the deck were just sublime. Would definitely stay again - thanks Ernie's Acre! »
