« Yes but wasn’t clued up about the Tetla for cooking. It was a portable hot plate so we used the electric frypan to cook our breakfast. Great breakfast too. But everything else was great, loved our stay very clean and calm music was lovely when we arrived. Location fantastic right next to HIRE BIKES and the Riesling Trail. »

« A wonderful cozy winter retreat after some long cold days at the State Scent Work Trial.Enclosed back yard perfect for the dogs and they were very happy they could come inside. The log fire was wonderful. Comfortable beds with electric blankets. Breakfast was amazing and the red wine a perfect finish to our days.Highly recommend staying here. I will be back. »

« A nice quirky and comfortable home for our 3 night stay. Well presented and all the amenities we required. Two bathrooms and air conditioners in both bedrooms were the main selling points. Two suggested improvements:Put suit case racks in both bedrooms. Replace the very wobbly dining chairs - they’re getting to be dangerous. »

« We had many problems in the cottage, starting with difficulty getting the key out of the black box. Unable to contact owner or maintenance man on either numbers given. Heater not working, control panel very grimy, freezer shelf badly in need of defrosting, outside back light not working, wood stove not working efficiently because of ashes from previous fires, and no pan or tools to clean it out with. Because heater not working, insufficient wood for wood fire. cobwebs in 2nd bedroom. »

« The property is too old & very tired. Needs lots of upgrades. Outside was dirty & unkept, rubbish bins overfilling thru out whole stay. There were mice in side. No coffee, or breakfast foods. . Unusual especially when you fly in late on a Sunday. People usually leave milk, bread, cereal & eggs etc. Two burners didn’t work, hair dryer didn’t work, some lights didn’t work. Was definitely too expensive for what it was. Although we appreciated you changing our bookings as we had to cancel Xmas...

« Such a lovely cottage in the best place, Mintaro. If you want peace and quiet, gorgeous surroundings this cottage is perfect. Lots of room and smells for my dog to explore. The house was so warm once we got the fire going, although there was other heating options if you wanted. The cottage was both welcoming and cosy. A very short distance to Mintaro and so close to the wineries of the Clare region. Communication with the host was very good. The house was spotless. Will definitely stay again. »
