« I just needed a bed for the night, as I was in Schenectady for a wedding. I read good reviews from the past, and recent bad reviews, but stayed here anyway. The room was fine. Bed, comfortable. Microwave, and mini fridge (Slightly cold).The shower, large, but the shower head is terrible. No pressure… seems they are under renovation, and trying to make things better. AC not working, but fan provided. One man running everything, (He was very nice when he was actually there…), but Front desk...

« In a tourist region where even two-star inns were ridiculously overpriced, we found a rare gem. Our host welcomed us at dusk into this magnificent ancestral home. And time stood still to the sound of that intriguing player piano in the museum-like living room. Everything was perfect, from arrival to the room to the exquisite breakfast. « Beautiful room. Amazing staff. Included breakfast on the porch was delicious with a good view. Price I paid was a little pricey but overall this has to be the best place I’ve ever stayed at. »
