« If you like bird watching and going for a walk in a pristine nature, then it is probably the best place within a short distance from Entebbe airport. The easiest way to get to Buvi Lodge is by boat from Entebbe. Ask the hotel to send a boat to pick you up at the harbour, where the ferry goes to Nakiwogo. The resort is very isolated, but you do not have to worry about being ripped for money in the restaurant. I paid 10 US$ for a big pepper steak with fries and a pint of beer. The food is tasty...

« We had a wonderful stay at this lodge in Entebbe! The location is truly special—right on the lake and only accessible by water taxi, which makes it feel like a peaceful escape from everything. « Really beautiful location next to the Nile. Bungalow was spacious and comfortable. Food locally sourced was really tasty. Everything had been thought of for a place to recharge batteries. Great staff and opportunities for local walks with guides. Felt really safe. Picture windows look out over the falls. I’d far rather come here than any expensive Kampala hotel »
