« This place is even more beautiful than I thought it would be! It was perfect for us, who are avid campers and love living outdoors. The cabin is located on the top of a hill (about 30 steps down to the beach). There are 2 other cabins at the top of the hill. One is directly beside this cabin, which hinders the privacy. There are many great food options around, and if you want to venture into Tamarindo it isn’t too far either. It was hard not to just sit on my balcony, and listen to the ocean in total bliss. « My family and I had a wonderful stay at Chalet Escondido. We saw many different types of wildlife such as the Coati, Walking Stick Bug, Bats, Giant Red-Winged Grasshopper and the Howler monkeys. We could hear and see the monkey daily during our stay. During our time here we did many day trips to various beaches.
