« I’ve been coming to Mendocino for 25 years — sometimes with kids, sometimes with my spouse, and sometimes on my own. This is the nicest place I’ve stayed at. I initially booked it for myself, but then my husband decided to join me. I was worried from the pictures that it might be too cramped for 2 people, but that was not at all the case. « This is an older but nicely remodeled home. Beautiful views even with a rainy weekend. The lake laps right up to the edge of the property. Very close to town for entertainment but far enough away that you can get alone time. We would make 2 very strong recos. Put up curtains or blinds in the living room; it's disconcerting that the neighbors can see right in. Also, leave an instruction sheet for the TV; it was very challenging trying to figure out how the remote worked and what options were...

« Love this place and would stay here again. Everything is renovated beautifully. We loved sipping coffee while watching the hummingbirds outside the window. The Murphy bed was comfortable as well as the main bed. We were incredibly bummed that the fog never lifted during our stay. The water is RIGHT THERE, but we never saw it. Location is great, close to ft Bragg and Mendocino. Of note, we felt weird taking a shower or washing dishes because it is plastered everywhere about how bad the drought...

« This rental was just perfect for all our needs during our stay in Hopland while we spent time with family there. We really appreciated being able to have our dog with us too and she enjoyed the space. « Overall this is a nice place to stay and beautiful view. There are a couple of things to consider/ stood out for us during our stay however. 1. Mini fridge is kind of loud, and everytime it cut on or off the light above it flashed - probably a circuit issue. 2. Having a lighted mirror is wonderful, except the light from the buttons when you are trying to sleep - they are pretty bright and no door to block it. 3. If you are staying next to the communal area, the string lights make it impossible...
